We just experienced the WORST service EVER at an Applebee's!! Our waitress Ashlyn W. Attitude was so disrespectful and condescending, and her rudeness to my entire party was beyond measure! Her attention to any type of detail in our food ordering, was none existent. Upon seating, she threw packages of plasticware, in a pile, and walked away. We noticed all other tables around us with actual silverware and regular napkins. My order of the small riblet basket, was somehow transformed into an entire riblet platter, and when brought to her attention, she said "well I put it in, as a platter". Upon trying to explain to her that was not what I order, she turned and walked away. Stopping by the other table she was waiting, to express her dislike of how my party was talking to her. She did not return to our table for any other service, until she brought the checks. And again, they were placed on one end of the table, and not handed to each person to which they belonged. As she again turned to walk away, the checks fell to the floor. She stopped looked at them it the floor and kept walking. When she returned to accept the payments, she took them all at once. Each party had paid in different methods, I paid with cash. My bill of 14.45 was paid with a 20.00 bill. Another in my party paid with correct change, but was due back a 10.00 bill. When she returned to the table with the receipts, she a third time laid then all at one end of the table and walked away. The change and receipts fell to the floor. When one of my party said to her she needed to give the correct change back to the individuals, her reply was, I don't know who the belong to, and forth time, walked away. We then called for a manager. He came to the table, listened to our issues, and said he would correct our issues. Instead, he sent back a secondary waitress, who simply returned the change for the improper returned change, and stated due to hiring issues, and covid, they were having to hire teenagers who had no experience. At this point, I knew no satisfaction of service would be handled at that store. A complaint of from every member of my dinner party, 6, will be contacting the corporate over this event. Read morePicking up food from this restaurant, you need to have extra patience and a tough skin. I arrived there on Monday September 12th at about 8:15-8:30 pm. First the sign says, you should call the number on the sign at the Reserved Parking and someone would come out and bring your food. And that never happened. Even after calling and waiting for 10 minutes, they just won't answer the phone. So I proceeded to the side door as designated, and waited for 20 more minutes. Everyone is passing by me and no one seems concern to ask why I was waiting at the designated door area. I then walked to 3 different ladies and told them I was awaiting a prepaid order and had been stading for a very long time without anyone even talking to me. All 3 ladies walked by and said with a dismissive tone, "You just have to wait, we're short staff." I then saw a male who looked like the shift supervisor or manager because of the way he was dressed, and asked if the food would be ready soon. While asking him, he interrupted me several times, saying, "if you don't stop asking me questions, I would ask you to leave the store, and then call doordash and report you." First for all I dont even work for doordash. Because of his many interruptions I asked him, "sir, can I ask you a question? He said, "what do you have to ask me? Make it quick." At that stage I had been waiting for over 35 minutes, and felt so disrespect and humiliated. My last words to him were, "so is that the way you are going to treat me? He then looked at me from head to toes and just walked away. I stood and waited for another 15 minutes before a lady asked me for my order number and brought the food out. If I could reach the management of that store I would sure file a complaint on those workers especially the guy. Read moreThis was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service at this Applebee’s was atrocious from start to finish. Our server didn’t bring a single item correctly the first time. We had to repeat our order more than once, and even after re-ordering, it still came out wrong. The drink I ordered? I watched the bartender make it promptly and place it on the well—but it sat there for 15 minutes before it finally reached me, half the ice melted and completely watered down.
I was charged for extra sauce, even though the meal I ordered already includes that sauce. The server was slow, inattentive, and barely checked on us. We were met with long waits or completely ignored.
To make matters worse, the salad I ordered to-go was made incorrectly and missing half its ingredients. The bathroom check sheet was from last week, with no indication that it had been cleaned in the past two days. Disgusting. Other staff were lounging loudly at a nearby table—eating, vaping, and chatting like they were at home instead of at work.
The only thing they got right? The food itself was decent—but it wasn’t enough to redeem how terribly we were treated.
We even called to speak with a manager afterward, and she hung up on us. No accountability, no care, just complete disregard for the fact that a customer had a truly awful experience.
I go out to eat so I can relax, be taken care of, and enjoy myself. Instead, I spent over $70 to be angry, upset, and ignored. I sincerely wish I had just stayed home. Avoid this location at all costs.
