If you’re in ATL and haven’t hit up Da Foodie Spot, you are truly missing out! I came all the way from Virginia to grabbed the Nola Fries and let me tell you… they are NEXT LEVEL. The shrimp were juicy, the veggies were fresh, and that creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce? Chef’s kiss. Everything was smothered to perfection over crispy fries, and it was worth every single bite and every penny of that $17.50. And don’t get me started on the drink! I got a big blue fruit punch that came packed with fresh fruit — super refreshing and the perfect combo to balance out the savory fries. This is that real, stick-to-your-ribs, flavor-packed kind of food that you dream about days later. Everything was hot, flavorful, and served up fast. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for bold flavors and something a little different in the city. 🍶Want to know more about what I’m up to? First off I expected the food to be better than this being they left flyers on my door. I’m with supporting businesses, but when I tried here, it took a minute for someone to see me in the front, so no greeting. No friendliness. I ordered my food and waited 30 minutes to get it, which is my lunch break. I ordered a slaw chilli dog an American burger and fries. When I finally got home to eat my food, I bit into my burger and it was PINK inside. The chilli on my chili slaw dog looked like plain dried up ground beef that was seasoned, not chilli. I waited those 30 minutes for this! No I won’t be going back. I have uploaded photos for everyone to see what they gave me after I spent 20.00! I guess this was my pay back for asking how much longer for my food after I had waited 25 minutes! Here are the photos.

Ok just like everybody else who saw them on Instagram, my babe and I slid through here yesterday to see what the hype was.

LOCATION For those of you familiar with the Decatur/Stone Mountain area it is located off of Mountain Industrial right across the street from the Waffle House next to the Sam's Club. During traffic hours it's HELL getting out 😅

MENU/ORDERING Okay so they do have a kiosk to order food located on the left hand side right in front of the cashier counter however the problem is everything we saw on Instagram as far as food was NOT on the menu. We had to question the lady about the baked potatoes, the "foodie box," (the one stuffed with all the different foods I.E egg rolls, sliders, fries, wings etc). At that point it was a bit frustrating because the lady we were asking really didn't have a good idea of what we were referring to either. We had to literally pull it up on Instagram and show her for her to say ohhh ok. You want that?

SERVICE I'm not trying to be mean because the lady was nice however she was flustered and clearly did not know anything pertaining to the establishment. It's almost as if she may have been thrown in there for the day because they didn't have anyone else to work? Every time we said steak and cheese egg rolls the poor lady kept responding saying shrimp egg rolls and I'm like no😂 you have to order the lemonade separately after you order your food, I have no idea why, however once we were finished ordering our food the cook from the back came and put some food next to her for her to call out when she got done with us instead she forgets we were still standing there waiting on the lemonade and starts calling out a whole bunch of orders we literally sat at the counter for an extra 5 minutes before she realized we were still standing there. Mind you it is a line behind us so everyone is looking at us like y'all already ordered why are y'all still standing there we had to ask her again for the lemonade and then she goes "oh yeah that's right that's what I was doing."🤣 then she tried to tell us all Lemonades were the same flavor when they clearly all had different colors.

FOOD Now here's what you all have been waiting for. We ended up getting the slider foodie box which included sliders the honey powder Ranch and the lemon pepper wings some fries and some Philly cheese steak egg rolls. The Box was missing the fries so they had to make them on the side.

-The sliders were alright, the bun was not toasted so who lied and said that on Instagram?!?! and there's nothing really different that makes them special they slap a piece of lettuce and slice of tomato on it. -The wings were TOO salty and they were not 1/2 flavors as we requested. The only thing I can think is that they accidentally literally mixed all of the flavors together but we asked for 1/2 one flavor and 1/2 the other. -The Philly eggrolls tasted like a bite of seasoned pastrami. I wasn't able to get the Philly taste I was looking for. There were no green peppers or onions in it nor did I hardly taste the cheese. It really just tasted like meat stuffed into the egg roll with their "special sauce." -The fries were too crispy with no seasoning. We put their special sauce on the fries I mean it was drowned in the sauce and they were still crispy, they didn't even get soggy😅 -My babe said the banana pudding was good but it was just aiiigghhttt for me.

OVERALL: I'm just basing this review off of my first experience. We might come back another time to try something else before we slam the gavel down but unfortunately this DID NOT live up to its hype on...

I'm from Chicago and came to this place because I saw it on the video while I was in Atlanta. Walked in and the place smell like it needed a good sweep mop and deep cleaning. The front counter where you pick up your order was unorganized and dirty. They had an order kiosk and that screen was dirty. The person taking the orders and the guy in the back and along with the 11-year-old little boy didn't look clean. Desserts that they had along with drinks in the refrigerator for purchase looked very old. I was very skeptical but my friend wanted to eat there so bad, so I gave them a chance against my better judgment. I ordered the Philly egg rolls and fries. The egg rolls were very hard greasy and not what I expected the fries were hard and greasy and the sauce was runny and salty. A customer order the Alfredo with shrimp added and it looked like a toddler made it. It looked old. I see why they have a black curtain so you can't see the back of the kitchen. I definitely was disappointed and would not go back there ever again. I spent $13 for that food took one bite and threw it out. I wonder if they even took a sanitation license because one of the guys came from out of the back eating took an order and wiped his mouth with his inner hand and then went back in the kitchen behind the black curtain. I don't know what goes on back there but I peeked from the side of the curtain and it did not look like they took any...

I’m not one to normally leave reviews, but this one is deserved. I visited The Foodie Spot in Tucker, Georgia, and I have never been more disappointed.

We were originally under the impression this was the Greenbrier location, but GPS brought us here instead. Still, we decided to give it a try. The hostess was friendly at first and told us there would be a 15 to 30 minute wait. We agreed and waited patiently in our car.

But after coming back multiple times—20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, even up to an hour later our food still was not ready. I finally asked for my drink because it was ridiculously hot outside. My food didn’t come out until almost 90 minutes after ordering, and even worse, my cousin’s food still was not ready until another 20 to 25 minutes after mine.

All we ordered were wings, fries, a basic burger, and steak egg rolls, which were just ground beef egg rolls, nothing special at all. So why did we have to wait so long for something that isn’t even gourmet?

To top it off, the customer service vibe completely shifted as the wait dragged on. No updates, no apologies, just excuses and attitude.

So overall: 👎🏽 Long, inaccurate wait times 👎🏽 Mid food that did not match the hype 👎🏽 Poor communication and declining customer service

This place gets a solid negative one out of five from me. I do not recommend it, and I definitely will...
