I work for Postmates and Doordash. Doordash is easy from Coldstone because the order goes in online and it's done by the time I get to the store. With Postmates, I have to go in and place the order. Last week I went in for a customer who ordered four items. I was grumpily greeted by the larger white girl working there. I asked if it would be easier if she looked at the orders on my phone and she said no. I read the orders aloud to her. One was a frappe. She said they don't "do frappes" at that store. She made the two ice cream mixes I requested. There was a cake on the order as well. I asked her for the cake and she told me it was in the fridge. I went to the fridge and started to look for the cake. She then decided she would come help me. She angrily took cakes out of the fridge to the find the one I needed. Did she expect me to do that myself? Take cake after cake out of the fridge until I found the one I needed? She rung up the items and the price was twice as much as the subtotal on the app. The prices on the app were not even close to the actual price. I had to call the customer and ask what they wanted me to do. The girl stood at the register with an annoyed look on her face. I told her I needed to contact support or the customer. Whenever I updated her with what was happening, she just stared at me. When I resolved the situation, she admitted that Coldstone was not supposed to be doing postmates anymore. She said her boss told her the day prior was the last day they would be doing Postmates. Apparently not. The truth came out as to why she was so unfriendly and annoyed that I was in the store. I continued to be polite. I thanked her for her help. She didn't say anything to me as I left the store. She didn't say anything to me when handing me the receipt. She just walked away and into the back. I couldn't believe how rude she was. It's not my fault your app is messed up, okay? I...
Read moreI normally love Cold Stone Creamery ice cream. It is my favorite ice-cream in Tucson, but after the experience I had on 1/2/19, I will find a new favorite. I came with my daughter minutes before closing. I realize this is in poor form, but we all work hard and live busy lives. My daughter ordered a cake batter shake and I ordered a mocha shake, From the minute we got in they glared at us, even glared at my 11 year old daughter. I requested a mocha shake. I was asked if I would like a frappuccino. I said I couldn't because of the caffeine. The woman told me coffee ice cream has caffeine in it. Passive aggressive response. I know there is a small amt of caffeine in coffee ice-crm, but frapps have ESPRESSO shots! very different from the small amount in coffee ice-cream. When presented with my 'shake" i asked if it was a it was thin and watery. I was informed it was a shake. 5$ for a thin watery shake. I also tipped 2$ and apologized for the inconvenience. Not even an acknowledgement from them or a thank you. They were rude, and unprofessional. If they were just rude i wouldn't be writing this, but the shake was liquid. I get it we were an inconvenience, but I am a waitress at a 24 hour 365 days a week restaurant. I had to work Thanksgiving and Xmas. I was not happy about it but i did not take it out on my guests. Please do better next time and realize everyone has different schedules. If the sign says open, then you are open. Act like it. PS my daughter's cake batter...
Read moreMy daughter loves coming here, and tonight I think sealed this location as her favorite. Once a month we go on a date together, and she was so excited to have an ice cream date. A young woman with very long black (or dark brown) hair in a high pony tail helped us, and was SO friendly and helpful. She was patient while my 4 year old decided what flavor ice cream and mix in, she listened carefully while my daughter ordered herself (which wasn't easy to hear) and made it extra special with a few bonus m&ms on top. It's so refreshing to go somewhere with excellent customer service, and I believe you can really get a feel for customer service by the way children are treated at an establishment. We will...
