Catch them early in the day, and you'll get a better chance of getting the best tasting chicken. Flip a coin to determine, after 6 pm.
Earlier this week, I decided to have my daughter order online and for it to be delivered. She placed the order after 6 pm. In addition to the food, they charged her a service fee, Doordash delivery fee in addition to the tip she graciously submitted for the Door dash driver. My daughter sent me the order confirmation and receipt of payment for pickup at home.
The driver calls my daughter, upon picking up our order to tell her that my spicy chicken bucket had been substituted for original. She wanted to know was this acceptable. My daughter told her, "No, and thank you for calling. I'd rather cancel my order." The driver then hands her cell phone to the cashier, in the store. The cashier offered her two additional pieces of original chicken for the inconvenience. She repeated to the cashier "No thank you, I'd like to cancel my order." The cashier then informed her that she could expect a refund in 3-5 business days and before she could be questioned further, handed the phone back to the driver. The driver sat, at the restaurant, waiting for the cashier to cancel the order. She didn't want to make another delivery, until the cashier canceled the order. (Sounds like the Doordash driver responsibly covered any liability issues on her end). After the cancellation was complete, the Doordash driver called my daughter again to inform her that the cancellation was complete. My daughter received an email confirmation and sent me a copy.
I was livid. How dare Church's assume it was ok for them to make an order substitution and that 2 additional pieces of chicken was fair compensation for my $50 spent? And why should I have to wait 3-5 days to be compensated? This is not posted online or physically inside the store. I never received an order. No service was rendered. Nothing was delivered. I decided to call the store, only to be told "please check the number and call again."
The plot thickens. No BBB rating. The Corporate Office doesn't list a phone number. I filled out an online customer service request, with my number listed, for a return call. So far it's been 2 days. No callback. I filled out an online feedback survey and asked for a call back.
I went to the store directly. The Store Manager asked to see my receipt to show the General Manager. The General Manager tells him to tell me that the store owes us no refund, Doordash does. According to my bank, payment was rendered to Church's. I called Doordash Customer Service, who said they were not responsible, Church's is responsible for my refund. Doordash said they would call Church's. Since I knew they would get the same recorded message I got, I passed my cell to the Store Manager. The General Manager appears out of nowhere and tells him to not accept the phone. She made the lame excuse that they could be responsible for damaging my phone. Isn't it strange that days earlier the cashier took my daughter's call from Doordash but today the General Manager intervenes. Evasive maneuvering and highway robbery!

Read moreI didn't even know they opened so close to my house! I went for the first time and could tell there was a standard set fourth with service. Kids had their sht down, very friendly, hot food and over accommodating, making sure I had everything I asked for... Shows good management as well as a great afternoon team that wants to superseded expectations.. This was a quick but good expirence. Nobody will ever be Carla and the valencia team though, She is the best cook. She has the sweetest smile and she always makes my day when I go get lunch. All the people at both places need more money 💰 🤑 💸 🙄 Just lost my rating after today's visit. The lady heard 35 pieces instead of "#3, 5 piece (#3 has ether a 3 or 5). She didn't repeat the order and said "total at the window. That's when it all went sad, she found out she made a mistake and started sighing at me, wanted to look away and shut the door and hand me my bag with "do you need any-" so I stayed and she asked "anything eles sir" I said yes I would like some ranch and BBQ sauce, she slaps the ranch in my hand and shuts the window then comes back "yes may I please get the BBQ also" "ANYTHING ELES SIR! "Mis why are you being so rude, I've been nothing but polite to you" anything eles sir!!! "Just the BBQ please" Her fked up attitude ruined my day, everytime I hear about churches I'll remmber that brat girl... I'll be back to post her name... Read moreI heard about this place from a coworker talking about the biscuits. I figured I’d go try it out with another coworker to see what was so good about it. The biscuit was okay but that could have just been because I don’t care for honey that much. I continued on to my sandwich that I ordered that was supposedly to come with pickles and mayo. Instead I opened up and found nothing but a dry chicken piece and two smushed pieces of bread. I understand that it was a Saturday night and they might have run out of these ingredients but they should have made me aware. I double checked to ensure that it was not an error on my part. The chicken was very hard to chew and very dry. The combo also came with a side of mashed potato and they tasted like something you’d find in a cafeteria but this was probably the best thing i received out of the whole meal. Also I mobile ordered to pick up and I went to go open the door as i’ve never picked up from this establishment. When i got there at 9:10 the door was locked. I understand it was close to closing but I saw other reviews saying the door was also locked. The employees could have kindly pointed me and my friend to the drive-thru but they just kinda looked at us and tried...
