Costco Food Court — Restaurant in Tucson

Well I normally love Costco except for rude customers. This was different. I shopped for about an hour with a friend of mine and got to check out, I went through self checkout & a rude customer cut me off so another spot opened up and the lady that was running self checkout saw what happened & asked if I needed help & I said sure you can scan everything, thanks! While I boxed it. She said you are good to go! So I paid around $200.00 & I met my friend and we proceed to leave & I show the guy the receipt & he says you are 1 item short in your basket! Like I am trying to rip Costco off or something! I told him sir I'm leaving & he has my receipt and looking over everything... So he finds a small container of black/boysenberries($5) & says sorry you didn't pay for this! I told him that the lady scanned everything, I thought that he was going to say thats not a problem sir? But he took them. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE COSTCO! give me a break, probably threw the berries...

What can I say? It's Costco's famous food court, and it is exactly what you expect; Really super inexpensive food, large portions of it, eating inside of the Costco warehouse on picnic tables! Seriously, it's worth every penny, and it's very little pennies, so it's the perfect place to have your own meal, but especially to bring a pack of hungry people. It's very quick, the food is hot and fresh, and the portions are large. Large. I've had the hot dog, pizza, chicken bake, Caesar salad, and giant chocolate chip cookie, and they were all incredibly great deals and tasted perfectly delicious. If you want atmosphere, you don't want to go eat inside the Costco warehouse, but for me, I think it's part of the fun of eating at the Costco food court...

Food is great, service is rather poor. I ordered my pizzas over the phone a week ago. I come to pick up and I am forced to wait in a slow moving line because I did not prepay. Seriously!!! Preorders are done for the sake of saving time. They have a kiosk window that could help to avoid this. You aren’t allowed to just pick up and pay. In the meantime, your food is getting cold.

Update: I complained to the manager, who was very understanding, but his only recommendation was to pay with a card at the kiosk; unfortunately, I only had cash. However, I had to buy some ice, too, and the woman at register for the ice told me that I could have paid at her register for my food. No one I spoke at the food counter...
