Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Tucson

I have been going to the Einstein's Bagels on Oracle for over a year now. I have always been treated well by them. That said, they seem to have a new general manager more recently (Andrew). I (and my son) was disgusted by the way he treated my friends on October 3rd in the morning. It was their first time to this location and he was rude to them. He ignored my friend's request to have a coupon applied to her order; would not take her drink order; and rudely cut her off while she was talking. It appeared as though this location may have been shorthanded at that time, but my friends and I have all worked in food service before (including in management) and we all strongly feel that his behavior was horrible for a manager. Looking around at other people waiting, there were more than a few other upset customers as well. I strongly considered switching to Bruegger's that day. I am giving that location another chance because the core employees who have worked there for a long time do a fine job. Please hire a new general manager...

I’m a big breakfast person love bagel sandwiches and what not my wife as well, however the last 3 time we have came here there has been an issue. This time on 6/14/23 my wife and I came and were greeted and helped right away, but when we got our food my wife ordered her bagel with egg avocado on a plain bagel with no tomatoes because she’s allergic and what do you know there were tomatoes on it and our bagels were very thin and chewy witch made the bagel’s hard to eat and I gave up trying another thing my wife ordered a smoothie and she could not even drink it through the straw then she was frustrated and she threw all of it away and we shared my bottle of Dr Pepper. The employees were very nice and quick to greet you and answer any questions but the food has not been the same, when I go some ware I like I continuously go there for the consistency of the good food unfortunately, the past three times has not been consistent at all think it’s time to try some new...

Noooo! This place was once my weekly coffee spot, and I had it rated 5 stars easily. Then the former head manager moved out of state. For the last 2 years or so, my heart has been regularly tormented by the sight of this bagel shop's downfall. I visited this week, hoping they had their act together. Result? An incorrect order from the cashier, a sour chai tea, an over vanilla'd vanilla laté, and another metaphorical jab in the gut. Wasn't just the coffee either, as napkins and miscellaneous trash littered the floors. The cashier was nice, smiled, and did work with me after we noticed the order was wrong. Sorry for the harsh review, but my aching heart needed a shoulder to cry on. Update Went again in 2020. The place has cleaned up a bit. Looks like new management. I enjoyed the experience.
