The Ultimate Bacon Burger earned its name! Just the words “brown sugar glazed pepper bacon” had my mouth watering before I ordered. And once it was delivered, I could hardly put it down. Conversation ceased. The perfectly matched flavor of the sweetness and salt of the bacon had me on cloud nine! The caramelized onions added an additional sweetness that balanced the savory flavor of the perfectly cooked medium rare beef. The lettuce and tomatoes were garden fresh and the pickles were perfectly crisp. The fries were crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Yes, it was a long day. Yes, I was famished. Yes I know hunger is the best syrup. But seriously this burger was perfect. This burger makes me think of the episode of How I Met Your Mother When Marshal describes the best burger in NYC. The staff is super friendly and offers suggestions- but seriously, if you’re anywhere near this place and you need to eat, THIS is where you need to eat. $18 may seem steep for “just a burger and fries.” Let me assure you, this is not just a burger and fries. It’s WELL worth it.

We were disappointed, after looking at the menus on some online reviews, that the Irish fare is gone fom the menu. This is now more of a sandwich/appetizer place. Wanting dinner, I opted for the "Signature" Fish and Chips. Husband had the pastrami sandwich which turned out to be a much better choice. The three pieces of my fish were so greasy I had to try and scrape off the hard oil-soaked batter in order to get a little fish. The coleslaw was so salty I couldn't eat it. The fries were really the only edible food on the plate. If you like greasy food, this is the dish for you! The server was nice and efficient but there were only two tables occupied. Updated menu posted.

Busy hotel restaurant. I had the fried buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was seasoned well and tasty and the fries were hot and crispy. I had the warm caramel apple pie which had a weird soft graham cracker like crust that was equal parts dry and soggy. I drank an ice tea. I give the sandwich a 5, the pie a 3. The service was slow but it was super busy so I'd give service a 4. Overall expensive for what you get. I had a $15 Hilton coupon so with a 20% tip I paid $22 which for what I got still felt a little pricey.

Me and three family members were in town this past weekend for a festival and decided to stop in here on Friday night. We waited quite awhile before anyone met us at the door, but understandable, as there were only 2 people working the dining room. We sat down, ordered drinks and food from our server, Andrew. Not friendly, personable or remotely any show of any emotion, smile, nothing. I even told him he was doing awesome, as it was rather busy, especially for only two people. The food was good. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and everyone else enjoyed their meals, and as we were heading to the car, Andrew came running out and asking in a rude tone "did you guys pay your check?". If he would've taken the time to stop at the table, he would have seen that the credit card slip was signed and left him a cash tip. We came back the next night, not thinking we would get the same lack of service or friendliness. Well, this time we ended up seating ourselves, which is fine, but change the sign by the front door if you don't have the staff to seat people. We ended up getting Andrew as our server again, and it was just as bad as the night before. We could barely ask him for something before he would walk away from the table. He came with the drinks we ordered, but one of the Prickly Pear Margarita was just very sweet. No big deal about that, as the person just let Andrew know and she ordered something different. We ordered food again, I ordered the birria tacos and so did one of the people in our party. The tacos were hot, though lacking meat in them. The beans and rice were cold, no warmth, like they took them off the line an hour before. Chips were ordered, which were very stale. Everything being done, we get our check only to find that we still got charged for the margarita that wasn't even drinkable. Decided to cut our losses and not try to talk to Andrew about taking it off the check, as he was nowhere to be seen anyways, until we laid the money on the table for paying the bill. As we left out the door, He was very quick to pick up the money and proceeded to count it as he walked away in a very perturbed way. Only advice to give is make sure food stays hot on the line while you are still doing service, don't charge people for something that was made wrong or not to their liking. Also, find people who actually want to work, or can at least show some sort of smile or enthusiasm for what they're doing. Andrew needs training, especially if he is to work...

While all but one of the few employees encountered were pleasant, the service was terrible and painfully slow. Was hard to find anyone when you needed assistance as the few that were on duty would disappear to the kitchen, never to be seen until they decided to come out, regardless of what was going on in the dining area. And the one acutely immature employee (who we did speak to the assistant hotel manager, Rebecca, about since the restaurant manager wasn't there), really should be ashamed of herself. If it weren't for the new employee that the immature one was supposed to be training (yes, seriously), we would probably have made a much bigger deal of the absurd situation that person created. It was so ridiculous -- and public -- that more than one other customer came over to us later to ask what the girl's problem was and what caused her to pitch such a "temper tantrum" [their words] and leave (yes, she stomped off after yelling across the dining area while making an immature gesture and never came back). The new employee who was training was the only saving grace and while we sincerely enjoyed interacting with that person, we definitely won't be back. We were staying at the hotel because of a group rate for a [large] event and many of us have stayed there before over the last ~15 years or so because of periodic business in the area. We even held an event there at the hotel many years ago and patronized the pub frequently. Never again will we, or anyone else we spoke to, return. Overall, Finnegan's Pub has certainly changed for the worse over the years (as has the...

Staff were extremely slow, we saw people walk out multiple times, while waiting to be seated. we got seated quickly but took 20 minutes to get drinks. There were plenty of empty tables, it was not busy. They had 2 staff plus a bartender so no excuse. Had to walk up to the bar to pay because staff continuously disappeared for 10-20 minutes at a time. They would just disappear into the kitchen. even when people were waiting at the door to. E seated and they told them itd be a minute! I could have set these poor people, again plenty of empty seats. When I pointed out people had been waiting to be seated I was rudely told they would be helped when they had time. The staff just had no F'"KS to give. I left a 0 tip after the attitude the long wait. We came in at 6:52pm 2 people, and we didn't leave til 8:20 due to the horrible slow service. We will Never will go back. We had 2 more groups walk out when we left as they had been waiting so long and no one had sat them. Disgraceful. Staff should be fired for such rude behavior and speaking to customers as they did. I would like management to reach out as this was uncalled...
