I placed an order through DoorDash, but unfortunately, my food was prepared incorrectly. I ordered a #13, which should not come with mayonnaise, but it was covered in an excessive amount. I do not eat mayonnaise, so I called the store to let them know and informed them I would be coming in to have the sandwich remade.
When I spoke with Britney over the phone, she was noticeably irritated. She sarcastically asked, “So you’re coming down so I can have your top bread replaced?” I explained that I wanted the entire sandwich remade because it was incorrect. She responded with, “So you want the sandwich without mayonnaise?” I confirmed, reiterating that it does not come with mayonnaise to begin with. She huffed and dismissively said, “K.”
I asked, “Why are you upset with me because the order was made wrong?” and she responded that she was in the middle of a rush. While I understand being busy, that doesn’t excuse the lack of basic customer service.
When my husband arrived at the store, they initially refused to remake the sandwich. They claimed that management only allowed them to replace the top bread. I told them that was completely unreasonable—there was mayonnaise all over the sandwich. Britney then said, “I can replace the veggies, the meat, and the top bread, but I’m not replacing the sandwich.” I explained how concerning it was that she planned to reuse a sandwich that had already been in my home and then put it back on their cutting board. She ended the call by hanging up on me.
I later spoke with my husband, who was still at the store, and he told me they had finally agreed to remake the sandwich.
This was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I paid extra for delivery and a delivery fee, received the wrong order, and then went out of my way to fix it—only to be treated with complete disrespect.
To management: I am a regular customer and usually dine in or order from this location without issue. I would really appreciate the opportunity to discuss...
