My coworker and I placed an order for delivery today and upon opening one of the sandwiches, a black hair was found inside. My coworker who placed the order online, Monica, called and spoke to the manager on duty, who introduced himself as Cody. Cody became very unprofessional on the phone. He acknowledged that he had a suspicion about what Monica was calling about because another customer before her had called just five minutes prior to complain about the same thing. Monica simply chuckled at the situation while on the phone with Cody, as she had 5 minutes left on her lunch and is having to call and complain about something so preventable. Cody became irate on the phone, said that he was not happy about her "laughing at him" and proceeded to hang up on her. Monica called back, and asked to speak to Cody again. She told Cody she didn't appreciate him hanging up on her. Cody then informed her that he hung up on her because he was "too busy" to talk to her. When Monica asked for the store or district managers numbers, Cody refused to give this information to her and continued to be extremely unreasonable and unprofessional.

Well, I thought I had a coupon through JJ, turns out it was actually Jersey Mike’s when I got to the store. Whatever, decided to try JJ’s one more time. I don’t understand why you guys have to do everything so fast. I get that’s your whole slogan, but you guys mess up sandwiches to the point where it’s not even edible. I’m so used to restaurants messing up. That I just take the L & eat the food. But this one was so bad. I had to get a refund. But before I did that, I called & asked to see if we could do it through the phone. He tells me no. I get to the store, he doesn’t need my receipt. He doesn’t need me to tap my phone. So why couldn’t we just do this through the phone? You already messed up my order, the lease he could’ve done was save me some time & gas. But whatever. Read moreI order a CHICKEN Caesar Wrap today and it arrived with no chicken, I called to inform them of this and was told that they would exchange(?) the sandwiches. I clarified that they wanted the chicken-less wrap back (to prove I didn't pick off the chicken?) and was told yes. I promised to wrap it back up to the best of my ability. When the driver called he again mentioned the chicken-less wrap needed to be returned to him, I told him I had it ready. When I went down to meet him I asked if there was a new manager and was informed that yes, there was, a new manager and owner. That explains it then, I've had sandwiches delivered to the wrong place (where I work, there are multiple businesses on the same property), take longer than expected (pre COVID), and after the scheduled time, never have I had any problem getting a credit or compensation of some kind.
