This place is great, best lo mein in Tucson by far, I like to get it as a side for their lunch special when I order beef and bell pepper or kung pao chicken, I’ve been going here for about three years now, their brown sauce is unbeatable Also just want to mention the staff is extremely friendly and always welcoming, I really appreciate them!

Mei Mei Chinese Restaurant stands as a culinary gem in Tucson, boasting the title of serving the finest Chinese cuisine with unrivaled flavor and quality. As a loyal patron, I've consistently found myself drawn to their delectable offerings, each dish a testament to their culinary mastery. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the warm smiles of their friendly staff, who are always eager to provide attentive service. What sets Mei Mei apart is their remarkable efficiency; orders are swiftly prepared and served without compromising on taste or presentation. With a legacy spanning years, Mei Mei has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of our community's dining scene. Their menu features an array of mouthwatering delights, but standout dishes include the tangy Orange Chicken, savory Beef and Broccoli, flavorful Mongolian Chicken, crispy Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoons, and much more. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, leaving patrons yearning for more.Whether you're a longtime aficionado or a newcomer eager to explore the world of Chinese cuisine, Mei Mei Chinese Restaurant is a must-visit destination. With their impeccable service, delectable dishes, and rich history, it's no wonder they remain a beloved favorite among myself, locals, and...

This place was recommended to me by a colleague. At first I was very skeptical. They had an unfortunate placement for a restaurant and total lack of pictures and reviews.

Opening the door I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice, quaint, but eerily silent dining room. Prices are moderate and I was happy with the service. I was greeted instantly at the door with a smile and seated promptly. Being there were only another two customers in the dining room, they wasted no time in making sure we were taken care of.

We ordered two family dinner specials priced at $10.99 each. This includes one egg roll and two pork wontons per order. Both delicious and flavorful! We also enjoyed Almond Chicken & Broccoli Beef. Both dishes were fantastic but definitely needed more seasoning. Then finished off the meal with fortune cookies of course.

So much potential here! More people need to...

Update Wontons were inedible-completely disintegrated mush**

I just went in to get a big container of War Wonton soup for my mom.

The lady up front was the NICEST lady in the world-so friendly.

Mom did not want any vegetables in the soup-just wontons, broth, shrimp, chicken and bbq pork.

I was charged $8.46 (plus tax) and I tipped $4.

When I got home I was SO disappointed to see a big container of 1/3 broth, flavorless, tastes like canned stock. 4 (normal-sized, not big) wontons 1 wonton broken in pieces 2 small, discolored, dried-out over-cooked pieces of bbq pork three slivers of chicken 2 rubbery shrimp ONE tiny envelope of soy sauce for $8.46 plus tax, plus $4 tip.

I don't mind paying a little more for a great place, but this was a travesty-we were ripped off.

We were trying out a new Chinese restaurant but we sure as heck will...
