Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Tucson

Service and food are both pretty hit or miss at this one. I've gone through the drive-thru a few times and went in to pick up food a while ago. There does tend to be a longer than usual wait for a Popeye's or any fast food place, even though I rarely see other people at this location. I usually get the same couple things, so I haven't tried a huge variety of the items. There really doesn't seem to be even basic visual checks for quality or consistency. They're usually pretty good, although sometimes the tenders are a little tough and not very good quality or size. Sometimes the side items will not be fully filled, and the servings already aren't huge. One time I ordered a Dr. Pepper, and the drink was almost clear. The machine was clearly out of syrup, and that's a pretty easy thing to spot with what is supposed to be a dark brown soda, but she still handed it to me then seemed confused that I wanted a different drink. When it's good, it's good though, and I like the frozen and flavored lemonades they've had for a while. I'll probably go back again and order the same couple thing in the next few months, and if it's bad, that's kind of on me at this point for being a big back and not learning my lesson lol The picture is not really relevant to the service or quality of the food, but the placement of the "12 hour marination" sign right next to the bathrooms just amused me...

Ordered a chicken sandwich at the drive-thru and they asked me to pull around to the front (because they get timed with how fast the cars go through) which is fine, but I was waiting 15 minutes for my 1 sandwich before I went inside to say something because I saw people going in and out before me and nobody was doing anything until I asked what's going on. After I did they finally started to make my order which then took another 5 minutes to complete. It doesn't end there, when I grabbed my sandwich I noticed the bread was cold, not even warm whatsoever, also for being freshly made the chicken seemed slightly warmed as well. for the cherry on top, I didn't even receive the ranch packet I was charged for. I was going to walk back but I feel like these are the type of workers to spit on your food and I had errands to run so greatly disappointed in one of my favorite places to eat. Don't come to this place for popeyes, the workers do not care...

Absolutely ridiculous how bad all of these fast food restaurants are getting they want you to order online they put such an emphasis on it but when you order you take 10 minutes to drive down there and then they tell you they just barely got the order that you're going to sit and wait another 20 minutes I'm sorry you can go to a nice restaurant you can get treated better you get good service you actually get greeted as you walk in the door instead of ignored just for them to tell you they don't give a care about their jobs and they're not going to help you the Popeye's on Irvington I don't know if the food's good or not but the service is so horrible that I will never go there again don't waste your time do not go there unless you like getting bad service and waiting a half hour for them to fry chicken that...
