This was my first time at Raising Canes Chicken and I was looking forward to trying the place out since so many folks has said the food is good. The food was good but the service, horribly indiffernt to their customers.... I placed my order for a four-piece box. I realized after I placed my order the gentleman who took my order never asked me what type of dip sauce I wanted. I went back to the counter and asked a young woman what type of dip sauce flavors do they have. She listed them off and I settled on honey mustard. Once I told her which flavor I wanted, I was informed that it would cost 0.42 cents. Needless to say, I was shocked but in a dilemma. I had already placed my order and paid but didn't want to eat my chicken without a dip sauce. I pulled out my card and proceeded to pay just so I could have a dip sauce. I politely informed the young woman I wouldn't be back because I had to purchase a dip sauce separately, just to have a dip sauce. She gave me a blank faced look and said nothing. When they called my name, I went up and grabbed my meal along with the honey mustard sauce. Periodically I would get glances from the gentleman who rang me up, the young woman, and what I precieved as the manager while I ate my food and they were behind the counter. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere within the restaurant. I didn't even bother to finish my food and bailed. I hope that one time charge of 0.42 cents they made off of me was worth it for them compared to what they could have made off of me in future business. The food really is good but I'll be sticking to Chick-fil-A who does give their customers at least one free dip sauce before charging....
My first and last visit to Raising...
Read moreI was traveling through the area on my way to Mississippi and I saw a raising canes. I thought a good place to stop for lunch. I’ve ate there before and always enjoyed, but never at this one. I ordered the box combo, and I sat down in the dining room to eat the cole slaw was really warm and my fries were a very light color. They were firm, but they tasted undercooked like they could’ve used another minute in the fryer, I noticed through the counter to the window where they put the food together. They were using their hands to put the fries in the boxes so I knew that they couldn’t be super hot. Maybe that’s how they do it I guess I’m not sure I didn’t say anything. I was in a hurry, so I just wanted to eat and get out of there. It wasn’t super busy in Restaurant so surprised when I left that nobody said, how was your meal or have a great day I remember usually most places they do that , the chicken strips were good and the restaurant...
Read moreReally cool atmosphere and friendly staff. This was my first time ever going to a raising Cane's and I got to say I'm impressed. Definitely somewhere on my top 3 Chicken fast food stops. Slightly crunchy skin which I'm not a huge fan of but it's not bad but the chicken itself is extremely juicy high quality tenders. I mean being a fast food place it's crazy I walked in and out in just a few minutes with really HOT chicken tenders. Fry's a crinkle cut which are pretty good. They even give you a piece of toast that's not some cheap crap. The Cane Sauce is also pretty good, it's basically ketchup, mayo, and some spicy sauce. It's not overwhelming it's actually really good for the chicken and the fries. Also, got a lemonade which I thought was pretty good and they give you a good amount of it too. I will definitely be stopping more often! This location has really good staff so I'll probably make this my go to spot for...
