I came through the drive up this morning to get my usual, I always order it the same way, venti iced Carmel latte with blonde espresso and light ice. It the only drink I ever get so I know I ordered it correctly. The barista at the window gave me a grande, but the drink looked right other than that. I politely told her that I meant to order a venti and pulled the blame back on myself for perhaps not enunciating better, though grande and venti sound completely different, still mistakes happen and that’s okay. What wasn’t okay was what happened next. I watched her hand the drink back to another barista who simply poured it into a venti cup, added two more pumps of carmel and extra ice. Being a former Starbucks barista myself this was appalling. An iced venti espresso drink will come with three shots of espresso, in addition I asked for light ice. What she should have done was remake the entire drink, that would be the right way to do it by company standards, though I wouldn’t have had and issue with it had she given me the third shot (that I did pay for because the first barista adjusted the price) and kept the drink light ice when moving it into a venti, but she decided to cut several corners and give subpar service. I was rather annoyed at this point and didn’t want to make more of a fuss because I had to get to work so I left without saying anything else, but please try...
Read moreWhen this Starbucks first opened, they were awful. So slow. Because of this I stopped to going for quite a long time. Decided to give this Starbucks another chance recently because it is the closest to my home. When I first started going they were charging me correctly for a drink I have gotten for many years ( and I am 100% familiar with the cost of the drink of course because of this). Unfortunately, as of recently the price that they charge is almost $1.20 more than every other Starbucks I ever get my almost every other day drink at. When questioned the other day about it, their answer was not straightforward, they seemed confused and commented that “apparently you haven’t been being charge for a particular ingredient “still makes no sense what particular ingredient in a simple drink Would cost almost $1.20 more? Ended up going to my old Starbucks that is further away from my home, asked the girl who is very knowledgeable there about the comment. She said they are wrong. I would really hope that they could get their act together. Overcharging people and not knowing your job looks very bad upon the company. I do not recommend going to the Starbucks, you would have better luck at every other one in Tucson. This is an...
Read moreThey say the customers always right and in this case that was very true. I ordered a peppermint white chocolate crème frappe and they tried to give me what looked like a double chocolate chip frappe. Which is not even close to what I ordered. I had to sit there and argue with the girl in the drive through explaining that my drink has never been brown and she said it’s cause it’s has chocolate chips. I explained it’s white chocolate not regular chocolate chips. I even pulled up the ingredients on the Starbucks app in front of her. She still had the audacity to argue with me about how that is my drink. They remade the drink correctly but I never got an apology and she still tried to act like she was right but you could clearly see the difference between both drinks. The first drink was all brown with regular chocolate chips. The second drink was completely WHITE like I had explained to her at the beginning. The fact I had to even argue and she was never sorry and continued to act like she was right is annoying. In this case the customer...
