One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. They were suffering from a CO2 issue and so they didn't have any drinks. No problem they had a sign up letting people know.... I was however shocked that they were charging myself and other customers full price for the combo meals offered in spite of only providing water. When I inquired of managment what discount could be applied I was informed by Jacki that they were not offering any discounts in spite of the failure.
Jacki while unhelpful was at least calm and collected. That is in stark contrast to Richard who was completely unprofessional and began yelling and shakeing in anger when my father inlaw asked to file a complaint. By the way somehow the manager shifted from Jacki to Richard between me sitting down with my family and my father making a compaint less than five minutes later. When I asked for the corporate complaint number, the store manager or regional manager number they were unable to provide any of them. To say I am deeply disapointed is an understatement. I encourage Taco bell to review the security camera footage from 1:30pm August 9th from this location and take swift action. Read moreThis location is cadi corner to the parking lot mostly designed for drive thru services but it does have a clean ac controlled & comfortable atmosphere. The only less than stellar comment I will include regarding the layout of this location, The entrance is placed on the north side of the building while the south has common traffic as well as the drive thru. Imagine yourself crossing an exit entrance and walking thru vehicles waiting to place an order. I was hauling a trailer. In total I would be 50ft. I couldn't park along within taco bell, I used the greater parking lot to accommodate the vehicle I arrived in. Finally, I appreciate communications between employees and nothing of insult or offense was said. However, reprimanding any employee in a public scene is inappropriate and if that associate had issued another" really again" I would have included more details. (Either offer constructive criticism or understand that limitation and use it as a strength rather than an opportunity to broadcast your disapproval. ) No one is being a snow flake. I've come to this same Taco Bell, morning, day, but mostly during the grueling hours between midnight and 4 am, more than TWENTY times in the last year, to the point I know some of the staff by name.
Even when it's late, and everyone is tired, I not only experience great service from those working the window, Jesus and Delilah (i believe), and appropriately portioned, delicious warm food by chef Carlos (i believe), and finally excellent management from Manager Sylvia, whom I assume is an excellent source of team moral as well as a helpful leader when things get busy and tricky. I'm always met by a smile and kind, excited attitude, regardless of the hour. If this location lost the night crew, I wouldn't ever come back.
In addition to that, I've been to almost every Taco Bell in Tucson, and I can't tell you how much free food I've received because of mistakes from other locations (I won't say who), but I'll tell you right now, I've never had a missing fork or switch-swapped food item from Taco Bell at 3455 E Grant Rd.
