Our experience started out ok and then ended very badly! This is at the Tulsa store 71st St and 169. The first young man to get our order was nice and polite and took care of us well. Then later I came back up to get ice cream to go for my husband and daughter. I stood for about 3-4 minutes waiting for someone to even recognize that there was someone there sadly one person was fixing malt for the couple in front. The other person was cleaning another malt machine and never looked back to see if anyone was in line.so when the person making the malt for the couple ahead of me gave them their order they looked at me and asked if I'd been helped I stated that I had not. They came over to me and asked what I wanted never once apologizing for my wait period. I politely gave them my order whereas they at three different times had to repeat it. They finally got the order done and then asked if it was to go which I had stated that it was earlier. I calmly waited for the person to find lids for my order. When they did and got them on the cups I nicely asked for a sack to put them in the person totally ignored me and went over to the other person and re-started the conversation they were having. I said may I please have a sack for this the person went over and got me a sack and said here (nothing else) no sorry no here let me bag this for you nothing. I quite promptly said this was horrible service they turned back and looked at me and then turned back to their chat as if I didn't exist! Read moreI went through the drive through, asked for 1 meal, I wanted it with a large fry and large drink. They of course ring it up medium. I correct them because the screen showed it. They said they would fix it at the window. I get to the window, the total is the same and they are arguing with each other. I then correct the lady again and say that I would like it large please. She changes it, no apology. Ok I get to the second window, the lady hands me a bag and I ask, “this is large right?” She says yes I proceed. I stop just to check the bag and of course it’s a medium fry. I park, go inside and by this time I’m irritated because I corrected the staff 3 times, basically giving them chances to correct my order and they still failed. I go to the counter and tell the young lady that I ordered a large and I received a medium. The manager, still with no apology, doesn’t acknowledge the mistake, doesn’t address me, but tells the girl to just throw the medium away and hands her a bag with a large fry. And walks away never making eye contact with me. That is so disrespectful to not even acknowledge the mistake or apologize. Dear Braums, Please secret shop your own stores. See how most locations don't really serve the customer. There's always miserable wait times consistently for the restaurant and the fresh market. I understand ice cream is made to order and same for burgers.
The practice of making an entire order start to finish before helping the next person in line is ridiculous. I've seen this many times. Yesterday, I waited to place an order for 7 min after the person in front of me got their food, there were 3 employees walking by saying that someone would be with us soon, then waited another 12 min to receive my order.
The drive through was busy, but not moving any faster.
We were going to get the much desired ice cream after the meal, but decided against it because there were 2 people in line and no cashier. Not worth the wait.
