Today was our first time at any Chuys. We won't be back. The food was not very good. Prepared well, but not very good. Wife and I got the queso and some chuychangas. For $8, the lukewarm queso was separating. It was runny, like reconstituted with water runny. Aside from the fabric of it's existence falling apart, the flavor wasn't that great. We didn't eat it. The chuychangas were both just abject failures. They were understuffed so imagine a giant gothic cathedral tall arches and spires made of over fried tortilla with a wee little line of admittedly delicious charred chicken. Guys this was a total failure and I spent $54 on it. The look on the servers face was one of relief that she didn't have to handle yet another complaint. It's not her fault. If this is the best you can do, then that's fine. We just won't be back.

I was in the area visiting friends and we went on a Sunday, it was packed out but we were seated very quickly. We had a very large group and the waiter did outstanding! Our drinks, chips and salsa were kept filled up. The food was AMAZING! Everything I tasted was wonderful! Since it was my first time to go the waiter brought out a platter to taste all of their sauces which were all absolutely delicious. Some spicy, some not. I got the Appetizer plate and the floutas and quesadillas were so good! The guacamole and queso were both wonderful! Once I was as full as I thought I could get they brought our the most delicious Tres Leche cake I've ever tasted. Chuys you're amazing and I love you!! I can't brag enough about this place! Can we get a Chuys in California please!!?

Chuy's was a rather nice place to eat. Its fine mexican, and honestly, I can see that. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, the server was very helpful and had a good sense of humor (which is always welcomed btw his name I believe was Greg), and the overall food quality was high. I personally got the custom enchilada with the ranchero sauce and it was good! But...the portion was a bit small. Dont get the wrong idea, it was still a good portion, its just that for 10.79, I was expecting...more. The chips and salsa was nice, as was the queso and the guacamole, and overall everything was just good! I do recommend for those who love mex on their own or with company! Just bring some cash, and enjoy! So what are you waiting for? Go eat!

Used to go to this place pretty regularly and hadn't been there in a couple of years. Probably will not return based off this evening. After deciding to go out to eat, the wife suggested Chuys at tulsa hills and so that's where we went. We arrived and the parking lot was only half full so my family of five was excited not to have to wait long. We walked into the empty lobby and were greeted by two hostesses and told it was going to be a 15 minute or so wait... we said okay and took a seat to wait. Over the next half an hour 15 other party's ranging from 1-4 people each party came in and were seated within minutes. After 20 minutes of watching others get seated I went up and was told they are clearing off a table for you and it should be soon. I figured that they just wanted to put us in a large table rather than pushing smaller tables together... we wait another 10 minutes and finally get to be seated... we walk past multiple tables that are sitting either empty or unbussed all of which would have sat my family easily only to find out that they had pushed multiple tables together for a party of 5, which could have been done half an hour previously. This of course ruined my mood and when we sat down and were sitting for and realized that they have gotten rid of half their menu including the favorite items we used to get. We grumbled a bit about it but decided we were here and were going to eat but they decided that we didn't need silverware and they came to inform us that they were out of napkins. The service was just so terrible that I just left money on the table to pay for the drink and tip the server for their time. Bad service and inattentive management. We went across the street to Abuelos and were seated quickly with attentive service that seemed to actually want us there. This Chuys is now on my do no go...

Completely different review then the one below but our server Cannon D was DREADFUL! She was not only rude a few times she walked by our table countless times while my mother and daughters cups set empty I made eye contact with her as she just walked on by, checked on us twice and I watch her round the corner of a back area and she saw cash being actively pulled out to pay and came over immediately and all nice and smiley expecting I’m assuming a tip while i agree servers deserve tip having little to NO service skills is grounds for no tip…. We left a penny tip from our total bill but that was it. She definitely needs more training in customer service. I’ve never experienced such terrible service here before even when it was PACKED with a 10-15 minute wait tonight was a EXTREMELY lite night there was no excuse for her poor service skills.

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. These wonderful servers and their manager went above and beyond when my order was misunderstood due to the loud conversations but I was completely happy with what I got because their food is ALWAYS amazing, they went ahead and cover the food and gave us a desert (which was so outstanding and kind of them)! I not only recommend them just based on how AMAZING their food is but because of their absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service! They are truly the best place I have ever been too and will absolutely return! LOVE LOVE...

Honestly disappointing experience. Ordered a mojito. It took 25 minutes to get the drink after reminding the server Even though 2 tables that sat down after us already had their drinks 10 minutes prior. The drink had wilted and brown mint. The food took 30+ minutes to come out. When it did you could tell it had been sitting out for a while. The server made a joke that he found it. 2 tables after us had already gotten their food before us as well. One of the side dishes that we ordered did not come with our meal. We overheard the server tell 2 tables that they were out of refried beans. One of these tables actually got their food before us when the server told them they were out of refried beans. Although when we received our food both dishes had refried beans and you could tell they were old and not good looking. When it was time for the check the mojito wasn't on the receipt . After the server came back with our card he said it was more than the original check because of the drink was missing. It was obvious that the server forgot to put in the order for the drink but never admitted it or apologized and blamed it on the bar being busy even though other tables had gotten their drinks. Overall disappointing. We understand being busy. Both of us have worked in the food industry and understand how it gets but this whole experience was bad and unacceptable. Won't be...
