Versona — Local services in Tulsa

My sister and I stopped in to look for a present for a friend. I have been to this location and other locations before and have had good experiences, but when I stopped in today we were not greeted when we walked in the door and the workers were watching us closely.

We walked back to the clearance section of the store and we were looking at jewelry and sunglasses, I grabbed a pair in my hands that I was hoping to buy. I turned to my sister to ask her if she was ready for us to checkout, and one of the workers sort of hollered at us rudely, asking if I wanted her to hold the glasses behind the counter as we shopped. I said sure and handed her the glasses, not really sure why she was acting like that, then my sister turned to me and said that the worker thinks we're stealing. We were frustrated and started to leave, halfway to the door the same lady hollered at us again. She was rude, again, and asked about the second pair of sunglasses. We didn't touch a second pair of sunglasses, we weren't interested in a second pair of sunglasses, and we certainly weren't trying to steal any sunglasses at all. We simply said "What?", not knowing what the lady was talking about. She asked the same question, as if she was accusing us. My sister was the one with the purse, and asked "Do you want to check me?". The lady said "No, I was just asking" as if she was shocked my sister said that, and turned around. I wish I would have asked to speak to the manager or someone higher up, but at the time I was angry and just wanted to leave. We left right after that, and we will not return.

My sister is a teenager while I am a young adult, I am used to people assuming that teenagers are up to no good, but neither of us had been acting suspicious, nor had any reason to. I do not know why the lady was so rude, I've never had this issue at this store before, and I hope she doesn't treat other customers...

Great selection of women's clothing at a reasonable price point. The stores have a boutique-y feel to them but the variety of collections they house are vast and beautifully displayed- puts you in the mind of a Saks 5th Avenue but merchandised like a Banana Republic and priced like an Old Navy! Year round, the store hosts a SALE section with many pieces marked at ridiculously low CLEARANCE prices, which make the possibility if buying an entire outfit for $25 or less very realistic! The collections translate generationally which is a rarity in my experience! Most times I visit I leave with a bag full of items for myself and a gift or 2 for my mother and/or grandmother! I’m upset with this store because I really wanted this bracelet. It was on the clearance rack. It was a set of two bracelets I thought. I got up to register to pay and the cashier actually said it was two separate bracelets which was completely fine. She then called her manager over because the second bracelet did not have a price tag and they wouldn’t sell it to me “because they couldn’t find another”. Are you serious... I would’ve paid full price so I will take my business to the 71st street store. Also not to mention the manager wouldn’t even look at me and say it she was talking to the girl right to my face in a smart tone “ I...
