Update 4/30/25 Fajitas Grill. It has a higher rating than that place you recommended.
As of today, a Google rating of 4.9 with 660+ reviews. Possibly the highest rated Mexican restaurant in Tulsa. That is phenomenal. Congratulations to Fajitas Grill.
Last time here was Oct of ’23. I saw the current rating and thought, “maybe I overlooked something?” Back today for a plate of Mexican tacos and Camarones a la Diabla. Both meals good. Great tasting steak in the tacos, fair salsa, decent amount of shrimp in a good spicy sauce. They have great beans. Service is friendly/adequate.
It is a great little TexMex joint, but I just cannot mark 5 stars for the food and atmosphere. I have dined at a few other Mexican restaurants for comparison and as a result I’m sticking to my previous rating. Fajitas Grill just didn’t deliver a convincing, “Damn that was Good” that I was hoping for.
Still a must try for you if you haven’t been there.
10/31/23 This is a great little authentic TexMex joint, that delivers on flavor and freshness. Welcoming, friendly service. The small restaurant is clean from the front door to the restrooms.
Fajitas Grill restaurant is probably over looked because of its size and especially now that the street in front of the restaurant is a major construction site. It is worth the effort to work through the gauntlet of orange cones and potholes, for the food.
I had an Enchilada Dinner: three shredded beef enchiladas with chili and cheese on top. My wife had the #2 Combo: a tostado and an enchilada. Two plates of delicious TexMex.

Read moreThe beans were top notch. Beans are how I rate every tex mex, okie mex, or Mexican food restaurant. Still, the rice was stellar, the enchiladas were hot and cheesy with a deeply flavorful chili con carne. It was the best chili verde I have ever had. Again depth of flavor but the tenderness of meat was beyond any expectations. The salsas were so tasty and not spicy. I am sure they have spicier sauces but with children these sauces were perfect. So tasty for adults but completely palatable for children. The prices were, in my opinion, perfect. We ordered to go so frame all this with the mine that we took it home and still had this good of an experience. We can’t wait to go back. Guacamole was exactly as you expect: fresh, filling, and appropriately priced. The tacos were Tex mex style and delicious. Kids and adults alike will love them. My husband loved the fajitas but I did not try them. I ate everything so fast that I only have this tamale left to photograph. It’s very good. Not too dry but I must admit tamales from restaurants are never as delectable as ones bought from a little old Mexican lady or a road side stand. This tamale came in the combo dinner with 2 cheese enchiladas, a taco, and R&B. The tamale was the worst thing we had and it was...
Read moreYou know those little hole in the wall type restaurant's? This is one of them. A very unassuming place. No fancy lights or statues, no real kind of decorations inside, just a few TV'S, some booths and tables and I know that kinda comes off as a bad thing. Trust me its not, it was very clean when I walked in besides a few tables being dirty but I seen some people leaving as we pulled up. Menu very simple easy to read. I ordered a bowl of queso, combo fajitas for 2 ( that came with 2 margaritas for $25 , special of the day) and a plate of street tacos. The service was perfect and the food was equally as good if not better. All was hot and fresh. If you're looking for a really good place to eat (btw for all the food we ordered it came out to $41) Prices are reasonable, quick service, clean place ,friendly service and can't speak on the rest of the menu but what I ordered was absolutely delicious. Give them...
