My wife and I came here for anniversary dinner, try a new place, we have tried a lot of Italian everywhere we have gone. From California to Arkansas. Hands down this was the worst experience, food, atmosphere we have experienced in any restaurant not just Italian. We had the stuffed mushrooms, they were okay. The marinated olives were decent, the salad good, but the main course was trash. We had chicken mushroom marsala which was so beyond bland, no flavor, and chicken texture was rubbery and almost as if it was microwaved. The spaghetti and meatballs is a classic and didn't think I could go wrong. Well I was wrong, thick undercooked spaghetti noodles, sauce had no seasoning what so ever other than the salt and pepper I put on it myself to make the watery tomato sauce some what edible and the meatballs were flavorless and white on the inside boiled im guessing is what it looked like. Drinks were okay but very strong. I usually never complain about the server, but when we were asked how everything was I was as nice and polite as I could explaining both meals were bland and had no flavor what so ever. Well we were insulted that "well this is traditional Italian and we are just use to Americanized Italian food" .... Um well Mondo's is my favorite place and I'm pretty sure their food isn't "Americanized" and we don't like places like Olive Garden which have watered down the quality of Italian food usually comes out as. Lighting is uncomfortably dim, dusty open used wine bottles all around by your heads, cheap Christmas lights running the boarder of the booths, tables are so low and awkward that they are almost sitting on your legs when you sit down. The tables don't match, the bar and tables were covered in dirty dishes. There is zero music to set the ambience, and to top it off they said they were "out of bread" to start off the meal but didn't tell us that when they told us to come in with zero wait calling ahead to check wait time. Waste of time, waste of money, ruined anniversary date night, and left to go somewhere else to eat. I gave it a chance but I regret it wholeheartedly. McDonald's would have been a better choice and less disappointing than Bigas. Didn't even get the Tiramisu...

I’m not usually a fan of leaving reviews especially if it is a bad one but this just feels necessary. My friend and I each ordered a glass of wine, the fried calamari, the potato thyme gnocchi, and the lobster alla vodka. To make a long story sort of short, it was just terrible. The food was terrible, the only thing that was actually good was the bottled wine and the bread that came with the table. The restaurant is small, not crowded, and there were many old people there. That isn’t a problem but could tell it was a type of place that only ā€œregularsā€ went to. The ceiling was DISGUSTING, my friends wine came dripping down the glass and stained the table, the water bottle had some sort of yucky black substance, the food tasted nothing like the description, and my friend’s gnocchi was completely raw. If the health department came it would more then likely be shut down until improvements were made. The decorations were tacky and out of place for an ā€œItalianā€ restaurant and could unfortunately tell it was not clean at all which leads me to ask what the kitchen looked like. Never in my life have I ever complained about my food to the sever and we actually requested that the main meals be returned and if it could be taken off. He agreed and removed the main meals so we just paid for our wine and the appetizer. That is the only thing that made the night a little better. I wouldn’t recommend Biga but if you go maybe order something other then...

I recently went on a date here with my husband and honestly I left feeling glad that I had been but knowing I would not ever return. The autmosphere was wonderful, the wait was staff knowledgeable, and the menu had very authentic Italian options. The problem is that for the price I expected better I paid $10 for a half portion ( the full portions was $18 ) of veal raviolis ( which came out as only 4 raviolis ) the flavor was good but it was oversalted, had it been salted anymore then it was then I would have sent it back. The starter bread was good and it was served with a large pat of butter. We also got the baked meatballs as our appetizer which were decent ( the meatball was bland but the sauce was great albeit again a little too salty ) but it only came out as 2 meatballs for $8. Honestly with the portions I really think that the menu should have descriptions that state the portion size. Since I had no idea what to expect I was severely disappointed. The only thing I would come back for is the dessert which was AMAZING. The tiramisu was perfect, not too sweet, not to strong on the coffee and the plate had a nice drizzle of raspberry sauce that paired perfectly. My husband got the affagoto and I tried it and it was amazing too, perfect espresso with perfect vanilla gelato. All in all it’s not bad I just don’t know that I wanna spend that much for oversalted and...

Well for the type of restaurant it is, I'm sure it is great. We were the only 40 year olds in the building other than one little girl who was serving tables. This was like walking into a 50+ country club, and everyone stared at us like "why are you kids here, get off our lawn!" The menu was 2 sided and one side was all wine, $12 a glass I might add! The meals were $30 per person for 3 courses. And there was a lot of veal and beet dishes. In not sure who actually eats that stuff, but it's not me...we did find chicken parm and stuffed mushrooms on the menu but they needed salt really badly and there was none on the table. Their fresh baked bread was good, and that is probably the best water I've ever drank from a restaurant lol we had dessert of chocolate pie and tiramisu and that was probably the best part of the whole experience! If you're a 50+ and looking for a bougie country club atmosphere, you've come to the right place! We won't be back for at least 10 years!

I've always said that my last meal would be DUCK from the 4 seasons on NYC UNTIL TONIGHT AT BIGA. I had sea bass and nothing has melted in my mouth as it did. But we had only use begun. The wine was exquisite. The molten chocolate cake oozed delight and the tiramasu was perfect. My companion had veal. So much she couldn't eat it all the salad was lite and the. Read and BUTTER. Like real butter was perfection. That's not even discussing the ambiance and crowd. How have I missed this place in 18 years. We've already made plans to return. They had several tables of 6+ and yet still quaint for sweet couple encounters. The best restaurant in Tulsa in a great location . .
