This Taco Bueno has two things that remain consistent:
1: their inability to fulfill your order correctly
2: their ability to verbally insult their customer base after they have made your order incorrectly.
I went there tonight to pick up some dinner for my partner and I. I asked for no beef on the Wholelotta Platter. When I got home with the food and gave my partner their Wholelotta platter, it had beef. So then I collected their meal together and drove back to Bueno. I went inside this time, and explained that the Wholelotta platter had beef (making a point to not declare which item had beef). Speaking with the line cook, they said they could redo the Chilada only, as it was the only item with beef (they haven’t seen the receipt or been told which item was wrong still). I said I would like the whole platter remade because now all the food is cold. The line cook sends the manager over to talk to me. At this point, the manager points out I picked my food up 45 minutes ago, and tries to accuse me of lying that it’s wrong. I remind her that nobody at this point has looked at the order to confirm what’s wrong-they’re all assuming it’s the Chilada (it was). How did they know? Hmmm… anyhow, manager tells me they’ll only remake the Chilada because the rest of the food was right. I point out that their mistake has caused the rest of the food to become cold. The manager does not see it this way, refuses to make the whole platter right, so I settle for the Chilada only, explaining that this is going to upset my partner. The manager doesn’t reply, doesn’t apologize for the convenience, and just silently walks off.
Fine. Now it’s my turn to walk off. This Bueno sucks. They’re rude to my partner when they go, and they accuse me of being a liar while refusing to address their mistakes properly or with empathy. The only reason they get two stars is because the food is good when it’s right.
TLDR: a manager at this Bueno doesn’t have the interpersonal skills to properly resolve team errors, and instead provides a poor...
Read moreJust ate here tonight and we will NEVER make that mistake again :-) wish I could give it 0 stars but that's not an option apparently. Lol. Couldn't hardly order our food cause the guy in the drive-thru sounded like he was a mile away. & we had to repeat what we wanted multiple times cause they kept getting it wrong. We ordered 2 bean burritos, 2 tacos, and 2 drinks. We were charged for all that we ordered, plus a large chips and queso. Which was like $5 extra. & throughout the whole visit we never got told a total? & the receipt was wadded up in the bottom of our salsa covered bag :-) & the so called "large chips and queso" they charged us for, were two almost empty bags of nasty stale chips. Couldn't even eat them. & the queso was filled up only 1/4 of the way. Same with the salsas that actually HAD lids.. Most didn't. salsa EVERYWHERE. The tacos hardly had any meat, and my burritos were mostly tortilla. When we got to the window they seemed unsure about the bag of food they were giving us so I asked him politely to read our order back to us. He acted like it was the biggest burden and read it all back really fast and was just being straight up rude. Then once he handed us the food he slammed the drive-thru door without saying anything. I'm 18 and I've been working in the restaurant business for a long time now, I understand being understaffed or even just busy, but it was 9:30 at night and there was 1 other car in the parking lot and nobody else in the drive-thru line. & I saw multiple employees just chilling around the drive-thru window just talking. I have no patience with incompetent, lazy people. I love Bueno, don't get me wrong, I'm full on addicted, but I will never be back to...
Read moreI live 1 mile from this location so I am here frequently. The staff are nice however, this place seems to be really understaffed. The drive thru lines take ages to go through, and in result causing food to always get left out of my order. This happens constantly. I don’t always have time to go back to grab my items (such as stopping in on lunch, bedtime visits.) that were not In my bag although I bought them. I’ve lost quite a bit of money/food from lack of attention to details. Also another issue I have is that 3-4 times a week at night when arriving at drive thru they get on the intercom to state that they’re completely out of food and that it will be 30-40 minutes until more is made just to get people to leave, also people working the drive through make you pull up to bring your food out which makes literally zero sense at all. Pulling up means driving less than 3-4 foot ahead to the side door in which case the rear end of any size vehicles blocks the drive through from allowing any customers from paying. The only difference in this and sitting at the window waiting for your food is now they have to take more time to walk clear around the counter to bring the food out and once you pulled up, you’re out of view which unsettles me a bit considering I’m trusting them to...
