We ate here for the first time in a year and decided to try it again.
The "server" never brings the coffee we paid for at the counter until the 2nd time we asked for our coffee. My wife asked for creamer for her coffee twice before the lady brought 2 creamers to the table 10 minutes later after the coffee was cold. We came for lunch and lunch was not ready and out until closer to 11:15- 11:20am when I was told it starts at 11:00am so they kind of disappointed me here and we only had 1 hr to eat before we had to be somewhere.
As far as the food goes the only 3 items that were pretty decent were the large roasted chicken wings and the steak the guy cuts for you if you ask, oh and the pepperoni pizza was ok. Everything else seems like cafeteria quality food for the most part, kind of wish the kitchen would put a little love into some of the dishes you offer. I remember the mac and cheese was flavorless almost tasted like cheese flavored water or something, chicken livers were absolutely gross burnt to a crisp, pot roast had excess fat you guys could have reduced there's too much fat the meat is good and tender though, the fried chicken was disappointing and I was having hopes for that one, the meat inside was very greasy/oily and the crispy skin part just slide off first bite, wish you had more fruit options as well strawberries, other berries, maybe some apples, very limited.
For the price here you always feel like you are paying too much for the quality of the buffet, let alone the service. Being right on the intersection of Memorial you would think they would put a little more effort into making customers dining experiences as best as possible. We will try here again once more and give it another shot in the future hopefully it...
Read moreLET'S START BY SAYING THESE PICTURES THAT ARE BEING SHOWN 13 DAYS AGO OF THIS VERY LOCATION AT 9711 E. 71ST THE ONLY WAY THAT IS TRUE IS IF THEY CLEANED FOR SEVERAL DAYS: WE had to wait on ourselves I had to discuss it with The Manager. A restaurant of Mine and it had always been till that night!!!! These men sat in the front of the restaurant so this was on full display for all the customers to see and having cold yeast rolls and no butter for the last time I went up to talk to The Manager and He gave me 2 Free meal tickets After I went in the bathrooms..."I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN" I literally feel like I need to get checked for diseases and i have talked to my Dr. Because it is no joke I'm seriously concerned but the manager felt like 2 Free meal tickets were gonna make it better it sure did not!!!! Read moreNow that they eliminated Furrs cafeteria, Old Country Buffet, Ryans, Western Sizzlin, Lubys, Bishops, & others they have become an oligarchy or monopoly here in Tulsa. Their food is bland and seems like the kind of stuff you would get in the military or prison. They have dumbed down their menu & quality with no longer any quality fish or turkey generally on the menu such as Salmon. When they serve steaks it is poor quality beef in my view. If you get takeout food, they want $10 bucks a pound, which in that small plastic tray can add up to almost $40 bucks----a total ripoff in my view if you getting takeout food. The 71st street location is the worst---it's crowded & on weekends & popular days can appear to be packed well beyond their occupancy level permit as people jockey to get to the mash potatoes. Lousy experience which makes you want just take out, but the cost of takeout grub for this lousy food is $10 a pound. Pray for other buffet venues to come to Tulsa. because the food here is awful & expensive, particularly for takeout food. This GC has the toughest poorest quality meat or steaks I have ever seen. They apparently have a new owner and the mgmt. is obsessed with food costs. The food is terrible and main items on buffet are consistently left empty such as the tray with the cheap "roast" usually mostly has only potatoes & carrots with...
