Waffle House — Restaurant in Tulsa

Food was alright, it got to the point. The cook was hard at work. I’ve worked in the service industry since I was 15 and I’ve done it ever since. I had Taylor Horton as my server and she was SO kind and on top of things. However the “manager” on duty Debbie was extremely unprofessional and ruined the whole mood. As Taylor was taking our order, Debbie felt the need to loudly tell her to take her jacket off while it’s FREEZING inside, IN THE MIDDLE OF HER TAKING OUR ORDER. I don’t care if that’s even a corporate rule, it’s inhumane. If she shouldn’t wear a jacket, they should have the heat on. But the most hypocritical part was little miss Debbie was wearing a puffer coat that I can guarantee wasn’t a Waffle House coat. At this point I can see Debbie has a large stick up her * and she just likes to belittle her employees. I can see Taylor was overwhelmed but she came back to the table promptly with a smile on her face. Taylor obviously was experienced and professional while Debbie spent the rest of her time on her phone or hiding in the back. Other employees took their issues to the tables and complained on their coworkers but still messed up with own orders but Taylor remained graceful but she’s also a human being. I wish better for her. We should all be like Taylor. And we should all learn from Debbie in the sense that being a bitter person never is a good look especially when you’re at work. Debbie should...

Saturday aug 30th 7:10am. I'm not happy because I came in this morning and paid over 40 dollars for two All star specials and on top I paid them a nice tip.. only to get home to see my gits with cheese not with either of my breakfast orders. I had paid for all this stuff to go.. they didn't give me any of my waffles and my cheese gits with my orders🤦🏾‍♂️😤. Can't call them because now they got it to where you can't speak to anyone over the phone😑 and I live way to far away & got to much going on to drive all the way back up there to get my food they didn't give me & messed up. I take partial blame cause I should've checked my orders in the go bag they gave me before even leaving their parking lot, I just wasn't expecting them to mess up my orders like this so it didn't even cross my mind to check before getting home.. you guys at this waffle House location really need to pay attention to giving your customers all there foods with there orders they paid good money and a good tip for when they come in to buy food to go😤.. I've paid to much money on this food only to not to get what i asked for. I probably won't be back and may call your corporate office since no one will speak to me over the phone, this is ridiculous! 🤬.. I feel...

So... out of the 1099 times I've probably been to this particular W.H. this last visit would be my absolute WORST experience EVER!!! Must've been a bad night. Totally different set of employees... I'm familiar with the staff that used to be there. This group seemed unorganized, irritated, not communicating and not working well together. The one young girl that took my order OVER THE PHONE (because this was a to-go order) never even turned to order in to the staff to be prepared... but she was outside on a smoke break. We showed up 10 later than the time they "said" the order would be ready, funny we thought we were giving them a little grace period... only to arrive and be told that the order never even made it to the cooks... so we sat at the bar for 30 minutes and waited for our CALL IN TO-GO order to finally be prepared. As the staff scrambled around and argued with each other. And the cigarette smoke could care less that the facility was packed and her help was probably needed... she took another order, holding her cigarette in her hand and then went back outside to finish smoking. My food was good as usual... but the service was disappointing....
