I normally do not leave negative reviews, however the McAllister's branch on 91st and memorial in Tulsa has earned this review.
There was a time when this location was very good. Several of us from church would go down and eat on Sundays and or Wednesday evening after service. The restaurant was always clean the service was good the quality of food was very good for a restaurant in this price range. The food was quality and presentation was good. However since covid this restaurant has diminished in quality of food, cleanliness and especially accuracy of service and quantity. Sometimes people from our office would go there and eat or we would order food and or have it picked up. It was not unusual for us to order 85 to $100 in food sometime twice a week. However now it's dubious we spend that much money in 4 months at this location. The quality in every category is far below any of the restaurants in the area and any of the other branches. It has to be a management issue at the local level. The one on 21st Street in Tulsa is definitely a world of difference, bartlesville location is without a doubt world of difference.
This location on the scale of 1 to 10 will score 1 at its highest as of 7/6/23. Please return to the quality of the restaurants quality level pre-covid. If you're not willing to return to good quality of services, then close your doors and retrain your staff and enhance your stores quality that it can be. Stop serving food that rivals...
Read moreGreat food as everybody knows, but literally one of the poorest managed & run franchises out there. Their management doesn’t know what they are doing. If there are 5 people in line plan on a 10-20 minute wait just to order. If there are 10 people in line expect 20-30. This is all the time & all locations. They are extremely slow at taking orders, always short staffed and don’t even manage the flow of their customers coming in and waiting in line, management 101. 5 people in their big lobby and you are waiting outside because people are not smart enough to pick a line or scoot up…..never seen this anywhere else but McAlisters. Use some rope and creat lines or something so that people get in line and move up. As a person with decades of management experience it is just so easy to see…..get some systems in place. You have to do better in moving people along. Even encouraging customers to be ready to order by the time they are at the register. I’ve never seen any other place where people have no idea what they want Asians take as long ordering as I have...
Read moreWe had just finished a couple of very good sandwiches and were headed out the door with our drinks in hand. The attentive young lady behind the counter asked “Would you all like to have those refilled before you leave?” That was Lucy.
I have dined at several of the McAlister's Delis around Tulsa. This one is my favorite. I have never had bad food or a bad service here. What I especially like about McAlister's Deli is the variety/options on the menu and not having to eat my sandwich from a paper lined plastic tray. Today was the Memphian, a big thick, warmed meaty sandwich. I ordered the tomato and cucumber salad as the side. A fresh delicious healthy side. My wife had the Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey and a side of Potato Salad. The service was prompt and friendly. Clean, comfortable, restaurant.
When a business puts the right person in the right position it makes a noticeable difference. Today, Lucy was working the cash register taking orders. A friendly, welcoming, young lady who made a very positive impression, setting the tone for our pleasant...
