Wine is Food Tasting Mobile Event in Tulsa — Restaurant in Tulsa

I can't recommend this wine bar enough. WINEisFOOD is a Hidden Gem and favorite discovery in downtown Tulsa. He is serving such unique food and wine you can't find anywhere else in town. I started with EVOO herbaceous almonds to wet my appetite and a glass of sublime Franciacorta bubbles from Italy. I surprisingly had never heard of this wine and found it less expensive than good Champagne. He served table side Jamon Iberico which I haven't experienced since I was last in Spain! I loved the organic chicken terrine with dried fig, cranberry and pistachios (great since I am gluten free). I had lovely arugula salad leaves and he hand makes the sweet petite accompaniments that come with the terrine that are made from wines and fruits that offered the perfect touch of sweetness to the palate. I finished off with hand made dark chocolate truffles with a gorgeous nutty Madeira. It was the perfect accompaniment and I am not usually a dessert person.

Pablo, the proprietor, has so much knowledge of wine and food and so graciously offers a one on one experience explaining and teaching about the wines. He is so passionate and knowledgable and just a lovely human being. I am so happy I discovered this unique, creative and engaging gem of a wine bar. He also offers terrines in croute and cheese boards or 'Snackuterie' that are so delectable I had a previous visit. I plan to return again and again to this special spot. I just experienced something truly unforgettable, and I have to share it. Pablo is a passionate artist in the kitchen, serving wine and charcuterie with such finesse. He imported the ham from Spain, and his wine selection is nothing short of masterful. Every element on the plate was a work of art—carefully curated, beautifully presented, and harmoniously balanced.
