Wild Nectar — Restaurant in Tumwater

Came with a gift card. Really upset that they didn’t know how to redeem it. It was really embarrassing to sit there while they tried to figure it out and angry people piled up behind me. Left with nothing to drink and a really overwhelmingly low opinion

Edit after their response: I am honestly shocked at this whole situation and how ultimately it has ended up.

I went in initially with a gift card. At the "unexpected glitch" I stood and was patient with staff. I was polite and calm. It was only when the people behind me started making disparaging comments about my ability to pay and my appearance that I got uncomfortable- it was at this time your employee asked me to step aside and wait so they could be served rather than finishing my transaction.

I simply left saying "if it is going to be like this there is no point," because the experience was already uncomfortable and embarrassing, particularly as this was a thank you gift.

What keeps me angry about this situation is that the response to my reply here makes me seem unreasonable. I think they want to disparage my words and act as though I'm impossible to please. I'm very easy to please but I didn't think it was appropriate that they serve the people making fun of me before offering some real help to me.

I understand also that the behavior of patrons is not the responsibility of the employees- maybe they just didn't know, right? But if the music had been at any kind of decent volume there's a good chance they'd have heard.

So I went in to enjoy a gift and left because I refuse to watch as people who belittle me are served first.

Again, formation of a lasting negative impression- particularly as I think my leaving was appropriate.

Omg, What can I say not only are the owners amazing they're super friendly, provide some of the best customer service and they're juice bar is off the chain, I go almost everyday if not every other day its became super addicting 🤣 everything is my favorite from the shots to the fresh pressed juice their amazing smoothies and let's not forget their beyond yummy fruit bowls I typically get 2 to 3 things every time I go in, I have tried the ceaser wrap which was super yummy and I hope to try more stuff soon, I appreciate this type of establishment opening so close to me and that it provides healthy options, you...
