I went here based on on the reviews. First, let me say I've had BBQ all over the US and in other places in the world. I am really not that picky. Havidng said that, I will give you the pros & cons of the ribs I had here:

Pros: The sweet tea was good. The ribs were subtly seasoned and allowed the flavor of the pork to come through. I liked that

Cons: Not much smoke flavor. Ribs over cooked. Only half the meat on the ribs was even edible. The rest was dried out & mummified.

We went to this restaurant because we had eaten there back a few years ago during Blue Suede Cruise and enjoyed it. Today was not good. I ordered a hamburger plate with sweet potato fries and Cole slaw. The hamburger and fries were good but the slaw was rotten. It tasted rancid. The pulled pork and sliced chicken that were ordered by my husband and son were very dry. The potato salad and beans and French fries were good but they said the meat was dry and chewy. Nope! The sides are great! The roll is good! The ribs??? I think they was cooked yesterday and forgotten overnight but still served today. Im from Texas , I admit my expectations may be a little high but to not even come close is an over statement. Dry, Dry, Dry and dusty if you can bite them off the bone. I thought maybe it was the cook since its Wednesday but I called and Jim is there. He let them walk out the door like that! I ordered it through tupelo 2go. I won't be getting ribs there...
