I don’t normally leave reviews but I want to share. So we walked in waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Owner I believe was hosting and when he saw us he promptly came to seat us. Got to our table. Got our drinks and bread. I ordered a strawberry martini. Which took 25 minutes to get. We ordered the calamari. Was delish. Second round of bread was burned. Food took awhile but they were pretty steady so no big deal. For some reason our server brought an Alfredo boat that we didn’t order and we assumed it came with the food but didn’t eat it because we didn’t want to be charged for something we didn’t order. When we told him we didn’t order the Alfredo he seemed irritated. We got the lobster ravioli 7/10 but wasn’t hot and the salmon piccata which was a 0 for me because it was the fishiest salmon Iv ever tasted. I tried to eat it but it made me nauseous and I had to spit it out. I asked if I could get something else which I did and got the chicken parm. 9/10 and hot! When the bill came the salmon was still on there and I wasn’t going to pay for fishy salmon that I didn’t eat. When I asked to owner to take it off. He tried to say nothing was wrong with it so I should still pay for it but that he’d take it off as a courtesy. I tried to explain that when salmon is that fishy no matter how it’s cooked that means it’s not fresh or on the verge of spoilage. He wasn’t hearing me but took it off without any more problems. I just think it’s crazy I was expected to pay for salmon that wasn’t fresh and was that fishy when they advertise high quality food. The chicken parm was good tho. Will probably give this place another chance because I like to support local business but if you want to try something new and you’re not 100 percent sure you’ll like it or what it is this isn’t the...
Read moreWe was seated quietly. Our waiter came promptly. Then it went down hill from there. Our sodas came quietly but our cocktails did not.I had to flag down waiter and ask for our cocktails Then we got them within a minute(he forgot to place order) we waited and waited and waited, people who came in way after us was getting their food. I had asked for a birthday song as soon as we arrived. Finally our food came it was okay but not authentic and very very hot. Asked for to go plate we was so over it at this moment. As we r packing up our plates the bus girl is taking our plates that's fine but she took our drinks as well and we haven't even received our check or a bag for our plates. It was like she was pushing us out the door. When I turned to find our waiter he says where u go I bring the cake for u u ask for this no? Read moreTldr: Overall, I do recommend this restaurant, the food was phenomenal, but we did wait a little over an hour for it due to business of them just opening recently and coming on a weekend at 6 PM. The server did continue to check on us and we had appetizers come out quick we could snack on while we waited.
This restaurant just opened recently, and we came at 6:00 PM on a Friday night. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, and it was pretty busy so this wasn’t too long a wait. We sat down and ordered drinks and got them within a few minutes, as well as appetizers within 15 minutes. After ordering food, it took a little over an hour to get it, granted I know they were busy and we came on a weekend. The owner/manager profusely apologized and said they were just slammed and working out the kinks of being a new restaurant. When the food finally came out, everyone at our table said it was great. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli, and the others at our table ordered spaghetti and meatballs, cajan seafood, and lobster ravioli. The service was good as well. Our server was very cooperative with the business happening and did keep checking on us to see if we needed anything. Overall, I would recommend Casa D’Italia, but if you go on a busy weekend, be aware it could take a little bit to get your food as most all the food is...
