Food nor customer service is consistent. Food is pricey. The pancakes are amazingly beautiful tho! My first visit the food was phenomenal! For two meals involving pancakes and eggs plus omelette, our bill was over $40 we checked the prices and a small cup of black coffee, wasn't fresh, was $3. The second visit, a few days later, involved ordering the same meal, but added pancakes for one person instead of two. I ordered coffee again because of the free refills and said ill just take some togo since its $3. I also ended up ordering the Philly steak to go. Well. When my food came, it was not presented the same, did not look the same, nor taste the same, nor came with the same condiments. I was like where is the Salsa and sour cream for my steak omelette? I asked about the griller so I'll know when and when not to come. One day it was amazing, visit a few days later and much later in the day, it was not good at all, same griller. The customer service was blah as well. But what made me give 3 stars and not 4 is that i tried to get a refill on that $3, tiny cup of coffee, and they had poured it out and didn't make anymore! Also I ordered the Philly steak! I was floored when I seen a thin sandwhich, on regular sandwhich bread, with a hand full of fries! I told the lady to suggest a nice meal for My HUSBAND, and she said get the Philly Steak! That sandwich, with that tiny bit of meat and hand full of fries was less than a regular kids meal, minus the drink, but the price of an adult meal at any standard sit down restaurant. My bill was still over $30. If I go back, it will be for the pancakes. My husband will not be returning, not even for...
Read moreWe went here for the first time last weekend and wished we had a better experience. We had high hopes when walking in because it looked nice inside but ended up having such a long wait because not only were they really understaffed but they catered to a party of 8 people leaving half the restaurant being unused on a busy Saturday morning and that caused them to have at least ten or more people walk out because they didnt want to wait any longer. (They had already waited about 30 mins at least..) Then we finally were seated and it took 40 minutes for our food to come out and ALL of it was ICE COLD. Even the fried eggs. It was like the cook was making eggs and putting them on plates LONG BEFORE THEY WERE ORDERED. We told the girl waiting on us our food was ice cold and she said if we wanted better food we needed to get there earlier. We got there at 10:45 ... Then I wrote them a message on facebook trying to let the manager know what went on instead of posting a review and they didnt care. So beware, apparently you can only get warm food and good service as soon as they open. That's too bad because there isn't a lot of breakfast options around here. The wait wouldnt have mattered if we would of gotten even a WARM meal!
If management sees this this, I wrote to you on facebook messenger about this instead of writing a review first, but was ignored instead of even getting any response. So that tells me either you know what was going on and/or just dont care and thats too bad as well. Customers experience are what keeps...

We came to D’Cracked egg on a Friday around 9:45am for breakfast before a long day working an exhibit hall at a conference. The menu is near perfect. All the hits and no misses with reasonable prices.
The food was really good, flavorful, and high quality. I ordered D’big bird with three eggs, sausage, country ham, hash brown casserole, and a short stack. Eggs were a perfect over medium. The hash brown casserole was cheesy and savory. The meats were salty and full of flavor and the pancakes were really nice and surprisingly many places miss the mark but not here. My coworker got D’country which is biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash brown casserole. You can also get cheese grits casserole too. Other than the gravy being cold it was also a great combo. I think the biscuits were plated first then had to wait on eggs and my meal to be cooked prior to service.
Where d’cracked egg fell flat was service. They were extremely kind and welcoming but they must have been still in the weeds from the breakfast rush because after we were served coffee it took many minutes to get our order taken and then another long wait for food. It was worth the wait and they acknowledged it had been slow. A less patient person might have left.
Give this place a try. I think today’s service...
