🌮 Real Mexican Flavor in Tupelo! 🇲🇽

As an expat who’s been away from Mexico for over 8 years, it’s not easy finding authentic Mexican food that truly hits home — but Taco Loco in Tupelo, MS surprised me in the best way.

I ordered the lengua tacos, and the taste took me straight back to the street taquerías I grew up with. The meat was well-seasoned and tender, the tortillas were just right, and the fresh toppings — cilantro, onion, pickled onions, and a lime wedge — brought everything together perfectly.

What I appreciated most is that they didn’t try to “Americanize” the flavor. The salsa had real depth and heat, the presentation was clean and inviting, and the portions were solid.

Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Mexican street tacos. Whether you’re from Mexico or just love real food — this is the spot.

Babyyyy!!!!! If I could give this place TEN stars, I would!! This is the PERFECT place for authentic Mexican Cuisine! The food was FRESH, HOT, and cooked to PERFECTION! The staff treated us like family, and everyone was SO nice! We were in town for my son's XC race, so my sister and I stumbled upon this place Friday night, and they happened to be having a block party to celebrate their 1 year anniversary at this location. On 10/8/24 At 11:12 am. I entered with high hopes since they are rated 5 stars, immediately greated and told I could seat to take time to look over menu i ordered the pork belly tacos and the chicken bacon ranch burrito the tacos where very good the burrito was a little bit more of a burnt taste the service was questionable the second time around as it was a different cashier than the first greeting so service is not solid atmosphere was a little over bearing but it was busy all in all I would give it a...
