Pizza Doctor — Restaurant in Tupelo

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was polite and friendly. We ordered at the counter a large super and medium cheese sticks. The food was prepared and offered at around the 20 minute mark, which is normal for pizza. The dough is sweeter than "normal" pizza restaurants but not as sweet as I remember from when the chain was more popular. The pizza had a good amount of cheese and toppings. The only real downside is the location being in the medical mall. It may be a good location for them, but it's not somewhere I would want to frequent regularly. It seems like it's more of a take out spot than a restaurant. I'm definitely not trying to be negative, I just prefer sit down type restaurants. 3.5 stars is a better representation because the food and staff were great! We will try it again...

By far my most favorite pizza place in Tupelo Mississippi. As an Uprooted Yankee from Central New York, I can tell you that the folks here have something going for them. The crust is sweet and the toppings are savory on just about any of their pizzas. It is really tough to get a good pizza, Pizza Doctor has perfected it locally. We have ordered in person and ordered out multiple times. Most folks dont realize you can buy pizza by the slice at their location, very rare down south. Best part is they dont sacrifice taste with price like some of these other "Italian" places. Do yourself a favor, dont order from these other Papa Cooter and Pizza the Hut goons, support local folks that have perfected...

Was not impressed as a first time customer!😟 Ordered through Tupelo 2 go, which is an awesome service, but pie wasn't up to par. Ordered a 16" Meat Lovers that I literally had to search for meat on🤨. There was barely enough cheese and the sweetness it has goin on with it, I didnt enjoy. Wanted to try something different other than the regular mega joints,(pizza hut, domino's, etc.), but wish I would've stuck with them for the price I paid! Maybe if they added more meat and definitely more cheese, I probably wouldn't have noticed or paid attention to how sweet it was! I wont go back! It was delivered hot so eay to go...
