I went with a friend who hasn't had to much Thai food before. we were greeted just past the door with our waitress, she guided us to our table and brought us our menu. She was quick with our order and very attentive. We had 2 appetizers, which were what was expected. Also ordered the tom yum soup and thai basil. They are VG and GF friendly so I was able to ordered my food gluten and vegan free. Everything was brought to me as I had requested it. The tofu was cooked very well. Not rubbery or over cooked. Overall the food was excellent! I believe the food was priced well for the quality and taste. The restuarnt was slow and quiet still when we ate, still close to the start of dinner. Couldn't have asked for a more satisfying tummy even afterwards. I even had leftovers which were also amazing later that evening! If you love Thai this is the place even if you arent a vegan. Don't let those...
Read moreTo be honest I didn't have high hopes for this Thai place because it's in a small city with a small population of Asians. If I can't get good Thai food in a bigger city with a bigger Thai population, I figured this is more flavortown for American folks. Boy was I wrong!
Besides everything being a little overpriced for what it is, I'd pay it again to eat here. Mixed seafood drunken noodles was so so good! Tons of flavor and seafood. Tom yum noodle soup had so many depth of flavor, I couldn't stop eating it. Spicy, sweet, sour, just overall fantastic.
Calamari was $7 for literally 7 tiny little pieces. Batter was good and it was nicely fried, but I'm not paying $7 for such a small portion. The waiter put in our appetizer order wrong, so she gave us a free Thai Tea. I'm not big on Thai tea because it's usually too sweet, but this was just right. We really enjoyed our meal and will...
Read moreStopped here for lunch, no disappointment as far as food served. Portions were sufficient and food was tasty. This wasn’t our first visit to Thai Garden but definitely the most disappointing. When our check arrived, I was surprised to see we were charged per glass of water. Yes, you read that right charged for tap water (served in a glass, not bottled) which as per my knowledge is against the law in US. Nowhere did their menu mention this. And secondly we weren’t even served the soup and spring roll that was supposed to accompany the lunch specials. No apology for the missed soups other than ok. Need to up their customer service. Post response from the owner- how come when I confirmed you’re charging me for water you didn’t offer to take it off my bill?? And your server didn’t tell me when I asked about the missing...
