Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Turlock

I am not writing this review to get any incentives; I'm simply sharing my experience of how I poorly I was treated; so you can better train your staff. I placed Togo order in person Yesterday 10/6/2021 around 1:20pm; with Jessica (new hire in training). The girl who was training Jessica was absolutely rude and made me feel I was guilty for placing a Togo order. Jessica was nice and helpful but the "trainer" was a disaster. I placed three lunch entrées. I was told my food would be ready around 1:45pm...1:50pm rolled; I got out of my car and approached towards the Togo door; the "trainer" Togo was walking back to the restaurant (designated same Togo door) after delivering a curbside to a customer & I was right behind her. she opened the door; walked right in and shut the door on me...that was customer service I received from her. She didn't say a word; she grabbed my food bag from the counter, handed to me and walked away. I didn't get a straw with my drink; so I asked Jessica (she was nearby ) to give me a straw and she did. I come back to my work and open my food bag; There were no napkins or utensils. I completely understand our service industry is facing short staff issues but please coach your employees that it costs $0 to be a nice human! all she could have done was a simple smile and talk in a nice manner. Her attitude was not necessary. However; Jessica was sweet and quite helpful but I'm afraid she would turn into her "trainer" one day. Please have some else with better personality train your new...

Havent been to chili's in a really long time in fact almost 20 years. It not to say it was bad then which it wasn't but for some reason it just hasn't been on our radar. In fact we just ended up here by chance because the dust bowl was packed with an hour wait time so after a quick trip to Ross we all figured we would give Chili's a try. Long story short it did not disappoint! Our party of was seated quickly and the drinks came fast. Our server was friendly and cute according to my 15 yr. Old son...lol.any how we all chose burgers from the new "Big Mouth" burger menu and needless to say they delivered. Huge burgers with flavor to match. For those who really have and appetite the "Boss" has all beef bacon and pastrami one can handle, even my teenage eating machine was conquered by this impressive messy but delicious burger. First & for most when my family & I go out to eat that’s our time to enjoy each others company laughing & telling each other stories etc. That’s our time out of the house on a night I decided not to cook dinner & we go out as a family. The thing I DO NOT like & was very distasteful is being rushed out of there. Literally being forced out when we were asked if we needed anything else turned into, do you need any boxes, I said “not yet.” Then just a few minutes later they came & collected our plates & drinks. That is NOT okay! Extremely uncomfortable & very unprofessional they didn’t get the hint we were not ready. We go there quite a bit for our dinners as a family & if it’s going to continue to be an uncomfortable feeling & being so rushed out of there we won’t be going back. Especially when your diner was empty at that! & the waitress had a trainer & for him to just take our plates was bold of a new employee. You want to keep customers & connect with them & not rudely rush us...
