I came back to this review because 4 years ago I gave it five stars and raving reviews. Today I would give it zero stars if I could. The people that work here or at least several of them, and ONE lady in particular has got some major issues and I have to wonder if it is not a "certain" thing. She has been rude to my husband three times in a row. Today was the final day. I've now found the owner's name and number and I am getting in touch with him because they are hurting his business. My husband asked if they had any cake donuts which he asks every time he's there and they never seem to have any. However, after speaking to the rude lady that told him "no we don't have any," he noticed that they were taking cake donuts right off of the line right then and they were going on a tray so he asked the lady the lady I'm referring to who has been rude to him twice before, "well what about those cake donuts coming off the line right now, can I have those?" She said rudely "oh those aren't ready." And then my husband asked when will they be ready and could I wait or come back and get them...and that lady walked away and another lady walked up and also said well those aren't ready but then the person making them and putting them on the tray overheard this and said "they're ready right now you can have them now." So my husband asked for half a dozen of them and she rings them up separately and they came up to more than $15 and my husband says "a dozen donuts is a little over $12, why am I going to pay $15 for half?" And then the lady said "well I rung them up separately," and he said "no, this is half a dozen, ring them up as that." I don't know what's going on here but it's extremely strange and this is the third time in a row where he has dealt with one person in particular who just has a horrible attitude from beginning to end. Nobody makes you get up and go to work there every day. If you hate your job and waiting on people, maybe you shouldn't go to work but Mr. Smith needs to know that this is going on and I'm going to make...
Read moreI honestly haven’t been this pissed off in a long time. I’m usually a patient person, and I used to actually like this Krispy Kreme location. But today? I’m done.
Let me paint the picture: I pull up, get out of my car, and the lobby’s closed — fine, whatever, drive-thru only. I see maybe six cars ahead of me and think, no big deal, they’re just making drinks, how long could it take? Well, apparently forever. It took almost 10 minutes just to get to the speaker, and it’s hot and muggy as hell outside.
I finally get there, and the girl immediately puts me on hold for 3–4 minutes — seriously? Then she tells me they don’t do the free donut when the light is on anymore. Are you kidding me? How about putting a sign on the door or anywhere before people waste 15 minutes sitting in the heat? It took 20 minutes to get one donut. And you stopped giving free donuts on the 4th? It’s the 7th — you couldn’t just let one slide? You literally throw donuts away at the end of the night.
So I order a pumpkin donut, hoping it’s at least good. Nope. It was disgusting. I felt zero joy eating it. And the lady at the window? Completely rude. No smile, no greeting, nothing. What happened to basic customer service — or even pretending to care?
I get that they’re short-staffed, but come on. Even a three-person crew should be able to move faster than that. The whole experience was miserable from start to finish.
I’m never coming back to...
Read moreThe lady who served me was the most kind and sweet lady. She took a few extra moments, making me feel welcomed and I told her that while carrying my daughter(who’s now down there in college) my only craving was original Krispy Kreme doughnuts and each night on his way home from a10-12 hr work shift (and over an hour drive one-way) my big brother always stopped by and brought me & my 2.5 yr old, 6 fresh doughnuts. We’d eat one each then, another 2 the next morning and the last 2 as mid-afternoon snack. She just loved my story and since I was heading home, I was going to get 6 originals, but I asked about the price 1st. I was more than a little embarrassed that I only had enough money for 4, so I asked her to make my order only 4. I wish I could remember her name, but she wasn’t the only employee that welcoming; I heard ALL of them being thoughtful with customers. As I was paying, another couple of ladies spoke to me too. And EVERYONE knows how good inside a Krispy Kreme store smells, right? But this store was SPOTLESS! The whole experience was amazing nowadays. When I got onto the highway I opened the box to grab my doughnut and God Bless this wonderful lady’s heart, she’d put 6 doughnuts in for me. I have been telling everyone to go to that particular store for all...
