I walked in at 10:10 pm and immediately was met by an employee throwing their head back and rolling their eyes at me walking in.
I thought ok maybe this person is having a bad night, Iâll let that go. But as soon as I get up to the glass this gentleman proceeds to go âwhat do you want? A burrito or a bowl?â And I thought it couldâve been phrased more politely but I answered âI would like a double wrapped burrito pleaseâ and he responded âbruhâ under his breath (but I obviously still heard him).
Then as he asks for additional toppings and theyâre on the back counter because the entire staff is cleaning the store down , including the line.
He puts the cheese and sour cream I requested on my burrito, and at this point I also requested guac and queso on the side.
All three of my itemsâŚ.my burrito, my side guac , and side queso were then rolled by this gentleman like a ball down the strip of the line from where he was standing.
The burrito wrapping came undone a bit once it hit the register and I grew increasingly upset but I decided to take the higher road and leave this review instead.
I have worked at Chipotle in the past for 4 years, so I have experience in customer service and this job specifically.
He knows better than that. And I know the specific reason that we havenât been given name tags either for me to identify him.
What I experienced tonight at this Chipotle location should be addressed and corrected. This behavior on any other night with me or any other person also not having a good night couldâve ended a different way.
Please encourage your staff to be more polite and courteous to existing and also polite and courteous customers.
Thank you.

Read moreAfter 4 years of picking up food here, today, I am met with my first case of discrimination at this location. After being confronted by "Alex", (the employee at the pickup shelf) I briefly show my phone with the name of my order, I vaguely keep my distance from him as he gets uncomfortably close, he then states, "Yea, you don't have to back up like that" in a sarcastic hostile manner. Astonished, I asked him to repeat himself, the manager just then appears, Alex lies and changes his words completely and says, "I could not see your phone". It's come to my attention, that because I took a step back when he confronted me too closely, he took this personal and responded in a very abusive-like way. What made this scenario much worse, is the horrible response and attitude of the manager, "Jose Lorenzo Hernandez." Speaking to Jose was impossible as he persistently talked over me, telling me I was at fault because I had backed up. I repeatedly told Jose that he witnessed the last half of the altercation unknowingly, and he continued to badger and talk over me with zero respect and haste, unwilling to hear what I had to say. I have seen Jose at this location over a four year span, and expected nothing less than how I was treated. Alex's behavior is inexcusable, but what concerns me is the managers inability to rectify the situation. It seems Jose has gotten way too comfortable with his position, and really hope the franchisee can see to these two individuals. Unfortunately, I am plagued with situations where I am mistreated by employees that have serious mental deficiencies and aren't addressed. I hope no one has to go through unnecessary situations such as mine, and can at least expect a satisfactory...
Read moreThis has to be one of the most poorly run Chipotle's in town. I used to come here often when I lived in Tustin and only recently went back there. Over the last month I've probably gone three different times and it seems to always be the same problems:
Portions: Every single time the rice and beans portions are miniscule and when you ask for a little more you get attitude (theme of this location) I asked for a cup of half pico and half hot sauce only to be told we cant use the larger cups for this and i cant mix them, id have to charge you for one. Like really? I can get both on my burrito, why cant i just have them on the side so I can dip my burrito in the sauce? Makes no sense.
Customer service: Extremely rude cashier(Anthony). The three times I have gone, the person making my meal calls to the back "order ready" and there is never any urgency to tend to the customer. Its always the same guy(Anthony) too, he really seems like he hates working there and seems visibly upset they called him to ring up a customer. He always gives attitude and just seems like he is miserable working at chipotle. I suggest you work with this associate because its not been a one time thing, every single time I have gone there and he is working I get attitude or feel very unwelcomed all because I ordered food or asked a question, it is really weird.
The rest of the staff I am sure is different, so my rating is based off of this one guy, my receipt says his name is Anthony. The food is good, but for the price the portions do not reflect the price paid in my opinion. I wont be going back here and recommend you all go to the location at the District or on...
