I had a bad experience at this location. My partner and I lined up at 9pm to get a free cone. (Today was “get a free cone day” so rightfully there was a HUGE line in front of the store, at least 30 people. On the DQ website, it says “some DQ stores in mall locations may require additional purchase for a free cone”. The DQ location we went to WAS NOT in a mall. So we waited 15 minutes in line and when we got to the cash register, we saw a tiny sign that says “we do not participate in free cone day”. We felt really deceived. We wasted all this time being in line and so we decided to just buy a small cone. A few minutes later, at 9:50pm, (10 mins before closing), a DQ worker announced to everyone in line that they were not participating in the “free cone day”, and immediately half the people in line left. The employees chose not to announce it earlier because they simply...
Read moreIt's been a rough week and I really wanted to indulge in a tasty blizzard. Payday isn't until tomorrow and I'm counting change to make this happen. I was short a little over 50 cents to get a small blizzard with an additional topping added. The gentleman at Dairy Queen offered to pay the difference out of his own pocket. I could've gone without my extra topping, or gotten a smaller size but his generosity and kindness allowed me to not have to sacrifice any of that. Sometimes small acts of kindness really make a big difference in someone's day. This really made my day and I appreciate it so much I started getting teary in the parking lot (rough week...lol). Thank you so much ❤️ I am a beyond satisfied customer and really appreciate you!!! And the seasonal Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough Blizzard (with Heath Bar) is AMAZING and made me feel a...
Read moreI recently visited Dairy Queen with the anticipation of indulging in one of my favorite treats: an Oreo Blizzard. Expecting a generous infusion of those crunchy, delightful Oreo bits, I even paid extra to ensure it would be packed with oreo. Unfortunately, the reality was a letdown. Despite the additional charge, the amount of Oreos mixed into the Blizzard was underwhelming. The ice cream itself was creamy and delicious as usual, but it felt sparse on the Oreos, which are supposed to be the star of the show in an Oreo Blizzard. For a brand that prides itself on customizable, satisfying desserts, this experience was surprisingly skimpy and not up to the usual standards I expect from DQ. I hope Dairy Queen revisits their topping portions—especially for those of us who don't mind paying a little extra for that...
