Love this little place, it's cute, clean and has excellent customer service. First time at color me mine and I had a great experience, instructions were comprehensive. Employees came around often to ask if we were doing ok and if we needed any other colors or color refills. Honestly the employees had some of the best customer service skills then some restaurants my boyfriend and I have been to. Atmosphere was quiet, thankfully not too loud, guess it was a good day to go I don't really know for sure if it's that quiet usually as it was our first time here and it was on a Sunday night around 7:30p. It's a great place for a first date and for children. They had lots of pottery to choose from, from palm size to head size pottery, as well as lots of paints to choose from. Only thing negative I'd say is that it's a very small place with limited amount of seating, so either call ahead or ask what is the best time to go, the other negative would be the cost, not inexpensive, a palm size piece is gonna cost you about $23 bucks, that's about the least expensive pottery peice, nothing there for less then that. The price and the size of it all is definitely well worth it because you lose track of time while being here and all the worries and cares of the world disappear because your painting something that'll be with you forever. If your unable to finish your pottery peice, they will allow you to finish at another time and date of your choosing, just bring back the receipt, depending on the time you arrive the day you painted your peice, they will charge you half price $5 or free, again, depending on the time you got there initially. So going a little later will get you in next time to finish painting free. So if you got there at 10am and had all day to finish, they're gonna charge you...
Read moreStaff are entirely unwilling to rectify their mistakes, even when they are brought up multiple times. Ruined my partner's night and only offered us half of the promotion running that night despite their mistakes. Even upon bringing up their mistake again picking up my ceramics, I was only met with an "oh" as the employee walked away.
Per the reply, it took a 1-star review, two phone calls, and a negotiation to reach this point. The entire issue arising from what easily could have been either a honoring of the listed price, a discount to meet me halfway on the piece, or applying the active promotion on the day of the incident. I am well aware that only one of us met the criteria for the discount. My request for it to be honored entirely was due to this mistake made on your end. My partner was seated and was already planning out her design when the mistake was noticed. Customer service is clearly not a priority if it requires escalation to be achieved. If you wanted me to change my review after our discussion on the phone, you should have...
Read moreWe went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her friend. We had been painting for about 30 minutes when the staff said that in 30 minutes a party would come and they would have to combine all the tables together. They said that we could paint for 30 more minutes and then we would have to leave and then come back next time. We asked if we could move tables and the staff said we had to leave. We rushed, but I knew that we couldn't finish. I knew that my daughter's friend lived far away so we couldn't come back. I asked one more time if we could move to a table in the corner and the staff said that she would ask the manager. She came back and said that we could move. I was confused why they said that we had to move when we could have just moved. Next time they should just tell us that there is a big group coming before we...
