1 star for what happened tonight. We frequent this place ever since this place opened. This is pretty much the go-to place when we have kbbq. We never had major complaints until today.
We got seated at 6:30pm, as it says on the receipt. Around 8pm, we just put in our last round and about to finish up. All of sudden out of nowhere, a waitress who never waited our table at any point the entire evening THREW our bill on our table, TURNED OFF the grill and mumbled something as she quickly walked away. No reminder that our time was up, no warning, no last call, no nothing prior. I immediately said "but we're not done yet". I knew I was loud enough to be heard, but I guess she just pretended that she didn't hear me and left. After a few minutes, I flagged her down and asked what our time limit was because for as long as I can remember, they have a 2-hour time limit, which is completely understandable and standard.. But she said she didn't know but it had been 1.5 hours so she just printed and gave us the bill. Ok now, she is one of the original waitresses since the beginning of this place. How could you not know what the time limit is? I continued to tell her that I just put in the last round of order and was waiting for it. So she said, "I can get you the last order, but I NEED this table". Then she repeated, "I NEED this table." Then the conversation was wrapped up. About 10-15 mins after, we finished eating and gave the credit card and bill back to our waitress who was actually excellent at the services. We just casually asked her what the time limit was without telling her what happened earlier. She said it's 2 hours.
For one, we would've appreciated it if we were given a heads up and offered a last call before someone actually came with our bill and turn off the grill while we weren't done eating. Second, our time was not up. We still had half an hour left. We were treated as if we were such an inconvenience to her that she wanted to kick us out, than we were customers. I get that you have customers waiting, but this is a fair game. We had to wait in line also.
Posting this because I think this type of poor service should not go unnoticed. I hope manager/owner of this place would do...
Read moreThis place USED to be 5 stars 1 year ago, then it became 4 stars with the addition of the robot servers, and now as of today it became 3 stars because of lack of service and quality of meat. You basically have to order everything through your phone once you are seated. There are no servers that take your order. You also have to use your phone to order any drinks or get refills for your sauces. No one checks to see how you are doing. We accidentally clicked on a new drink instead of refill and the water got upset because he had to bring out extra cups instead of reusing our cup. If this was fast food then it’s not a big deal. But If we’re going to be paying dinner prices then I would at least like a little service. I’m already cooking for myself, can you at least provide some luxuries like making sure my drink and sauces are refilled. It’s pretty gross to have to use your phone mid eating to order another round of meat. Now the crazier part, the only time a waiter comes out is to charge your credit card and ask for a tip. Seriously? For doing what? Nothing? lol. My anxiety level is way too high to not tip though so obviously I tipped well but I definitely felt ripped off.
As for the quality of meat- it has definitely decreased over the last several months. It used to be higher quality potentially prime grade but as of recent it’s more like choice grade meat which is eh for the price. The thickness of the meat is also not as thin and has more fat compared to 6 months ago.
Something happened to this place over the last several months and it’s a big bummer because it used to be great. Now it’s less than mediocre. I’m not sure if it’s new management or if they decreased their quality of ingredients to pay for the new robot servers.
Overall, this place is not worth it for the price and I would not recommend this place to...

Since I came in on Friday (it's now Tuesday), my stomach has not been the same.
I hope it's not food poisoning, but I've been "backed up", it's hard to go, and the food has just not been agreeing with my stomach.
I'm not sure if I should try this place again...
(I wish I had gotten more photos of our food, but I was so immersed in the entire experience, I forgot to snap while I was eating lol)
That just lets me know my first time at I Can Barbecue will not be the last!
The entire restaurant was full, but we only waited about 3 minutes before being seated which was lovely. We sat next the outdoor seating area and my date quickly gave me a run-down of what to expect.
This was my first ever experience at a self-serve all-you-can-eat Korean restaurant where they bring you your meat and you cook it all yourself to your liking. Their menu is through a QR app. You order from there and they incorporate different “rounds of meat” where you order meat to cook as you go through your food. They even have a self-serve robot we saw as we were walking out!
I was just thankful to have my date with me who knew how to prepare the Korean dishes just right because this was all new to me lol
Kaitlyn was our server and she was phenomenal! She kept rotating through her tables, she helped to adjust our flame as needed, she even recommended we try the Short Ribs (Phenomenal!) and she was laid back and friendly and funny! Thanks again, Kaitlyn!
Overall, from the entire experience from the staff down to the food, this place definitely earns an...
