Came with family to eat dinner tonight . As usual we ordered sushi rolls but my brother in law ordered a love boat to try something new. As he was eating a piece of chicken he felt a piece of hair in his mouth. He pulled it out and it was a long black hair . We were extremely disgusted and brought it to our waitress' attention. All she did was pull the hair out and say need anything else? Uhh how about a new "love boat" that's hairless ! Then she has the nerve to come back with the bill and we are still being charged ! Not once did she offer to replace the disgusting food they gave us so I took it to the manager to remove it because I was not going to pay for it ! As we were paying the waiter laughed at us and said to the owner "why are they making it a big deal its not like they're coming back anyway" and just keeps laughing at us with the other waiters and owner! Never again will we ever come here or recommend it to anyone! And for those who continue to go and find hair in ur food be prepared to be laughed at by the waiters and the...

Food quality is mediocre at best. Sushi was laid with mint, green onion and other garnish to cover the low quality and not so fresh fish. Uni sushi smelled and tasted like a vomit. Very old pungent smell with "this could make me sick" taste.
The waiter seemed tired and didn't want to be there. But it was only 5:30 pm on Thursday. Four of us sat, but only gave us 2 sets of chop sticks. Had to ask 2 times for more disposable chop sticks.
Atmosphere was dark and musty, not fancy dark and charming at all. The floor seemed dusty and dirty. We sat in one of those "traditional again dining cube where we took our shoes off and sat on a thin cushion. The divider between us and the group next was a poorly cut thin ply wood from scrap yard or something. Nothing resembling japanese or even close to again artifacts.
I have no idea why this place got so high rating. ...
Read moreThis place is tucked away discreetly next to the Koki Teppanyaki restaurant. It's sort of a curious place that I've seen that has been in business for some time, so my curiosity finally bit the bullet and I ate food here.
The food itself wasn't out of the ordinary, though the miso soup tasted really salty. Service was very good and personable, honestly it was the best thing here, and the establishments decor is a bit dated, and it was a bit stuffy, but bearable.
The problems however came later, as I got food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. I think if I didn't get sick, I would have rated this place higher, but I cannot in good conscience say I would come back here. I got so sick that I couldn't even eat for the next four says without feeling nauseous. I wish the food didn't make me sick because the service was so good.
Hopefully, the quality of the food improves for the sake of others, but sadly I will...
