My daughter was an employee here for a short time. As a 17 year old girl she might not have been the fastest, the greatest or the most valued employee, but employee nonetheless. Instead of the "manager" helping her grow as an employee, she only criticized her and talked about her behind her back to other employees. That is not the way to teach anyone how to grow within a company.
The "manager" also had other employees, including new hires, call our daughter by the wrong name on purpose (super "professional"), she wouldn't let her use the bathroom when she was on her time of the month, constantly sent inappropriate group text messages to the whole staff, and talked poorly of crew members to other employees while onsite. All while simultaneously bragging about how much the owner loved her, gave her a house and paid for her remodel.
Our daughter came home with bruises all over her legs after spending a whole shift being snapped by towels and then drenched in ranch dressing by another employee. After we approached the manager or shift lead on site about the issue, our daughter was a few days later sprayed down with silly string by 2 employees, 1 being the one who snapped her with towels so intensely that she had bruises ... sounds like a great place to let your kid work? Um NO. Needless to say the food might not be bad but...
Read moreI ordered 2 of the Hot Big Bacon Ranch for the first time, last Thursday afternoon, one for me and one for my husband the next day. I hadn't eaten all day due to appointments and was really hungry. I wasn't impressed with the one young guy that waited on me, he acted annoyed when I ask him questions, as I was new to the Hot Subs. There was a new trainee there and he was so nice but couldn't really help me cuz he didn't do the hot sandwiches. I only ate half of mine and put the other half in the fridge when I went right home also put the other one in the fridge. That evening I was feeling kinda sick and didn't feel like eating supper, and was tasting the bacon, making me nauseated all night. I don't know if that's just a weird sandwich combination but it didn't set well and I didn't trust the rest of it and threw it away and the other whole sandwich too. Don't know if this turned me away for good, those sandwiches are kinda spendy and we have enjoyed the cold ones and felt they were worth the money but now, I'm...
Read moreWe've supported JM's in Twin pretty much since it opened. We've always been happy with the quality. Today my hubby came home with my sandwich and it was so incredibly disappointing that I had to come check the reviews to see if others have had a similar experience recently. Turns out at least one other has (review posted only 2 days ago). There was almost no meat in my #9 sandwich--not only was there hardly any slices, but the slices were so paper thin that the roast beef just balled up as it was sliced. There was NO bacon in it. There was hardly any lettuce, and the lettuce was, as the other review said, limp (soggy even?). So glad I had my sandwich ordered with extra mayo because if I hadn't, I'm not sure it would have even had any mayo on it. Basically I had bread for dinner, which makes it pretty expensive bread at that. I won't cross you off my list quite yet, JM's, but if this happens again, I won't be wasting my money...
