Rolberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Twin Falls

Just passing through from Washington and ordered carne asada nachos which were just okay according to my husband so nevermind that but I ordered dry Chile rellenos for myself with rice and beans and the rellenos sauce on the side. The menu says corn or flour tortillas which I wasn't asked if I wanted either and I was just given whatever. Okay cool I guess I'll let that slide. As soon as I opened my food the tortillas were flour and way overcooked or perhaps even reheated? Not sure , they were hot but so stiff. The Chile rellenos were skinny and long and looked more like Chile jalapenos. One of the two chiles was okay but the other one had BROWN SEEDS and it was hard to chew through again giving me the indication that it was overcooked or reheated. The chiles were folded over and thrown together in the box. I literally got my food, drove across the street to Carl's Jr and noticed there was a single hot cheeto in it? And a few random pieces of carne asada were mixed into my pico de Gallo but I let it go and decided to still try to eat it. Well after several attempts to call them with no answer I ended up just feeding it to my dogs because I couldn't eat it myself but didn't want it to go to waste since I spent almost $30 and wasn't willing to sit in that line again as I'm traveling through and have somewhere to be. Very disappointed and definitely wouldn't eat here again. Slow down, hire more staff, and get your quality under control. Do better because this food was absolutely gross and you should be...

Edit; I have put my original, 5-star review below this. I am not going to Rolberto's again. I have been teaching myself Spanish for years, finishing what was started by growing up in El Paso, Texas.

A couple weeks back, I felt confident enough in my Spanish to try ordering in that language. It wasn't perfect, but I got my point across. (I use Spanish regularly at my job, say once every other day) The woman taking my order thought I was being pretentious or something, she said, "I speak English" then we spent the rest of the order switching back and forth in a really awkward way, with her leading the changes. She made fun of me to her co-worker's.

I gave them another chance today. Placed my order in English; the same lady pretended to not understand me. She called a coworker over and went around a corner, laughing. I am not going to spend my money at a business where I'm being ridiculed.

I spent enough time getting made fun of for not speaking Spanish fluently as I was growing up; I'm not going to take any more of it as an adult.

Original post follows: Great food. I love the cold bar with the pickled jalapeno/carrot/onion mix, salsa, and various garnishes for customers to use.

Portion sizes are huge!! A single 8.99 burrito can last me for a whole shift.

24/7 is nice, I have trouble sleeping sometimes and being able to get some comfort food anytime is helpful.

I went and got 3 burritos and a dinner plate I got home they got one of the burritos wrong they wrote the correct name on the aluminum foil so I called them right away I talked to a gentleman and he passed the phone I assumed was the manager in charge I told him what happened he assured me that he would write it down that I could come in and get the correct burrito another day I said thank u he said of course. And this was in the later evening probably around 11:30 pm so I went there the next day and went in and the girl at the counter that's kinda heavyset with glasses was so unprofessional very rude she should not be dealing with the public I told her what happened and before I could even finish she tells me there is nothing that she can do about that the guy I talked to the night before didn't tell her anything and that more less I was out my burrito and that was that I had nothing coming she didn't bother to look for the book nor ask anyone else I go to this place at least 3 times a week and every single time she helps me she is very rude I don't know if she is like that to everyone but she makes it a point to be rude and unprofessional to me I will no longer go to this restaurant I will take my business to El Toro they are great awesome ppl and treat all their customers...
