I came to Panera today bc I had some pretty good offers. I ordered a pick two, option one being the Greek quinoa salad with no cheese, option two being a veggie sandwich with no cheese and a different bread. On top of being vegan, I also cannot have dairy due to health reasons. The salad had maybe one full spoonful of quinoa on it. It was good, but way over priced for a side salad with one bite of quinoa. The sandwich however...I checked it AFTER I left. Mistake number one. I open the wrapper to find bacon(I haven't had pork in 13 years, so if I would have bit into this I'm sure I would have gotten extremely sick). The sandwich ended up being some type of poultry with bacon. I think, well this is a pain I have to drive all the way back in between jobs now, but go back thinking illI'get my new sandwich and head to work. l arrive to have an employee immediately call for a manager to deal with it, no apology. I then speak to said manager, and she tells me to meet her where the pick up is, no apology. She then proceeds to scold her employees in front of everyone waiting, to check through a veggie sandwich that had been sitting out for an hour, to make sure that no feta was present. Now, I have managed for years, and have worked food service, so I think everything is fine and am not upset until this point. The manager then asks me if I need a new bag and sends me on my way with an "I'm sorry about that", no mention of my now fingered hour old sandwich. Panera is supposed to be "clean food". Well guys, hate to break it to you, but that's vegan/ whole foods plant based. Where are the vegan options for one, and for two, who wants to spend $10 on a side salad and a fingered hour old sandwich??? This 10 year...
Read moreWorst customer service. Think her name was Toni was impatiently taking my order as she was getting off in two minutes. She was annoyed at my questions about my order. I paid for my order then their computer broke so they didn't give a reciept as they yanked the cord from the machine. Managers seen card machine says approved, as well as the transaction went through on my banking app. The woman who was so anxious to leave her shift stayed and loudly says over and over again "so is she going to have to pay for her food two times?" So manager came to me as I'm waiting on my meal that was never being prepped that I was going to have to pay for my order again for them to make my food. Excuse me, I'm not paying $30 for soup. I don't want to give a single dollar to them ever again after getting these attitudes from the employees here, so anxious to leave at 4pm but now it's 430 and she is still here to come looking for me in the bathroom as they knew I would be letting corporate about all of this.
I dont know why I gave this place another chance, as I did not have the best experience with them before!
Take your money elsewhere, better yet, make your own soup! It's only warmed up frozen soup I'm sure, for the prices charged for the little "(large)" bowl of soup, should have much more for the price, and should also be being made in store not warmed and...
Read moreI went into the Twinsburg Panera to order some food & got home with $22 of nothing! My Steak & white cheddar was supposed to be on ciabatta bread but they were out of ciabatta so I settled for sourdough. When I got home my $10.99 sandwich barely had any steak on it!! When I was placing my order, the cashier, Kevin, was obviously knew which was no problem but when he was asking the guy named Josh next to him whoâs hat said âCertified Trainerâ on it questions that needed answered for me, instead of it being a teaching moment he was a bit short and rude with him. I asked if the cherry cheese ring could be bought by the piece or if itâs only sold as a whole. Instead of saying , âno I am sorry we can only sell it as a wholeâ. He snapped back saying ânope only as a whole!â Then after standing there waiting for my itty bitty sandwich for 15 minutes, as I was walking out with my order, Josh decided to yell over to Kevin, âHey Kevin, whereâs my bagel?â Not sure if that bagel was for Josh or not but I almost turned around and said that he needed to get his own freaking bagel and stop being rude to people! If you donât like your job Kevin, find another one because you certainly do not belong in Customer Service!!!! Panera oughta be ashamed for hiring you and for serving sandwiches that look like what I got...
