During our recent trip from Houston, we made a sweet stop at Andy’s Frozen Custard—and wow, it did not disappoint! I’d heard good things, but experiencing it in person was something else. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, upbeat, and efficient, even with a steady flow of customers coming through. They handled everything with a smile, and the service was fast.
The custard itself? Absolutely incredible. Creamy, rich, and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. I ordered one of their signature concretes, while my sister went with a classic sundae. Both were so good, we didn’t even want to share. The texture of the custard was smoother than traditional ice cream, and you could really taste the quality ingredients. It’s honestly one of the best frozen treats I’ve had in a while.
We also picked up a Frozen Pine to go—basically a pint of frozen custard so we could enjoy more later. Great idea, because we were already craving it again before we even left town! It traveled surprisingly well and tasted just as fresh at home.
If you’re ever near an Andy’s location, definitely give it a try. We’ll be back for sure. This place is...
Read moreAt times, the line both of people and in the drive-thru is so long at this Andy's Frozen Custard location that you might just wonder if they're selling something illicit. Instead, they are selling pure happiness in a cup.Of all the different dessert options in town, this is by far our favorite. The different styles and combinations of Frozen Custard toppings seem endless. And their limited time options add some much-needed variety. Try to catch the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae if it's in season, as it stands head and shoulders above the rest IMO. Otherwise, experiment to your heart's delight. The crew is always quick and kind. They remind me an awful lot of those we see at Chick-fil-a (they might actually just walk over after their shift is done). While you can walk up, order and sit on an outside bench, we recommend drive-thru and parking. That way, you're only fear is someone parking right next to you and watching you consume a blueberry concrete like the glutton you really are. But what do you care? You're in yo-go heaven! Crank up the music and get lost in the...
