If I could give Boba Loompia six stars, I wouldâone for each of the layers in their glorious halo-halo.
This place isnât just a restaurant; itâs a culinary wonderland where Filipino classics meet modern magic. The lumpia? Crispier than the plot twists in a telenovela, and twice as satisfying. But the real showstopper? Their halo-halo, which is less a dessert and more a treasure chest of joy, topped with ube ice cream that could make even the sun jealous.
Imagine diving into a glass filled with shaved ice, sweet beans, jellies, and fruits, only to find each spoonful more delightful than the last. Itâs like theyâve captured the essence of summer and served it in a bowl. Iâm convinced that the secret ingredient is happiness, because every bite had me grinning like Iâd just won the lotto.
And letâs talk about the service. The staff at Boba Loompia make you feel like youâre eating at your favorite auntâs houseâif your aunt also happened to be a culinary genius with a flair for flavor. Theyâre warm, friendly, and have the kind of enthusiasm that makes you feel like youâre part of something special.
So if youâre looking for a meal thatâs equal parts comfort and celebration, do yourself a favor and head to Boba Loompia. Just be warned: once youâve tried their halo-halo, plain old ice cream is going to feel like an amateur hour. Trust me, your taste buds will be sending you thank-you...
Read moreThe place was subpar at best. The milk tea had an aweful chemical taste and the Boba was just... meh. I was incredibly excited to try this place for the spring rolls and boba. I work at a Thai food place and we also have boba tea, and I was anxious to compare the two. Well, complete let down there. Next on my agenda were the spring rolls, that I was heartbroken to find out came fried and with little flavor. The rice with them were tasty, but that's not the main dish. We also dined on their steamed buns, which I will say, completely blew my mind. Hence why I am giving so generously on the stars! They were sooo good and my husband enjoyed them as well. Overall, it was way overpriced for below average food. $30.06 for two crappy milk tea Boba, gross spring rolls, tasteless soup, and some great steamed buns. I don't think I will be making the...
Read moreIt was my first time to visit the restaurant and I had a very pleasant experience. They cater to a wide variety of client's preferences. They understood that not all people eat pork or meat so they give you a choice of pork, chicken, beef, and veggies. I love to eat lumpia (egg rolls) but most Filipino restaurants only carry pork lumpia so normally I have to do without my favorite food. I also love to eat siopao and again, there was a choice of chicken or pork. The Boba smoothie was delicious as well as the chicken skewer and lumpiang sariwa. They give you a generous portion. I would have liked to try more things but I was too full and satisfied. I am giving this restaurant a 5 stars because they are the only filipino restaurant who gives you choices on 4 different kinds of lumpia. They were very...
