This park is wonderful me and my children love to go walk or skate the many trails they have to offer. This is a nice place where you can find a very scenic area right in the middle of town. Out of all of the trails that we have walked around the Tyler or smith county area these are the ones that always call us back. There are some off the beaten path trails that are pretty fun to check out as well. My kids always love to ring the bell and just check everything out you never know what you’re going to see as nature can always surprise you. If you haven’t been you definitely should these trails are great.

A nicely wooded park with trails in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Tyler. The area has a lot to offer for pedestrians and bicyclists alike. Most of the trails follow the creek here. Morning during the summer is the best time when it's much cooler and the path is shaded most of the way. If you really like squirrels, this is a great place for you. Also, there is a fairly large playground for the kids. Parking was ok, i parked on the street by the Lowes, which is really close to the hotel I stayed at.

My favorite park in Tyler. The walking path is diverse in landscapes and is accessible to everyone. Lots of different wildflowers, trees, and even critters. I've spotted rabbits, tons of birds, squirrels, and even an owl. Snakes too, so pay attention. The park has places to venture off the regular concrete path. You feel like you're in the woods instead of the middle of town.

This park as of March 2025 is in poor condition. The grounds are ankle deep in old, rotting leaves. Overgrown excess trees have shaded out the grass to such an extent that most of the grass is dead or very bare and weed-infested. Gloomy. There are no benches except in children’s area. The creek is disgusting - totally clogged with years-worth of fallen limbs and rotting vegetation, covered in scum and littered with trash. The paved walk along the "creek" is lined with ugly cyclone fencing to keep people from falling into the scummy, mud trickle they call a creek. It's disgraceful that the city refuses to maintain this park. It is located in a very central area of town and could be a lovely amenity, but it isn't. .And there is NO PARKING LOT! There is a small area of play equipment for small children and a paved walking trail, which attracts a few joggers and bicyclers. No dog stations for pet poop pick-up bags or disposal. Very...

Great place to go walking, jogging, running or biking. If you play Pokemon Go, you are in luck. There are several Gyms, Pokestops and even multiple Nests here. The west side of the park is even a water biome, so you will always find many water types here. The only MAJOR issue with this location is the lack of parking. No parking on the far east side at all. Curb side parking for the main section in the middle, where the playground is. Only 6 or 7 spots on the west side and there is only 1 handicap accessible spot at all. People always park right behind all the spots, creating a hazard to those trying to back out or even pull into the micro parking lot. But to top it off, someone is always parked in the "striped spot" next to it, so people in vans have a hard time getting in and out. City planners need to do more planning to correct this, especially now that they moved the tennis courts...
