(I have since talked to the manager about this so i am changing my review)
okay so i just want to start this off by saying i really love this store and WOULD consider myself a regular. But in the last couple of months they have hired this new girl (not abby) and EVERY TIME i go in there and shes there, she is so unbelievably rude. She constantly butts into conversations that i’m having with friends in the store, she always has a snarky tone when she speaks to people, and a few weeks ago when I went in with my friends she was being VERY rude to my friend. ex: my friend said something along the lines of “love this store it makes me geek out!” and then she (who we were not talking to and arguably not even around her) in a super condescending and mean tone goes “..yeah we can tell” And after that Interaction alone i chose to not buy anything that day, and avoided coming back for about a month. And when i did (today) she was there again, and I was willing to let it go, because maybe she was just having an off day the last time. Noooo. She was not. She is just like that apparently. My partner asked if i wanted to look at the switch games, and I playfully gasped and was like “oh my god yeah!” and she (again we WERE NOT TALKING TO HER at all) went : “look she found out we have switch games finally!” (again, very condescending, very rude tone.) Not sure if she’s trying to be “playfully mean” (which does not work in customer service a majority of the time) but it’s super off putting...
Read moreI went into today and bought an XBOX game. I found it cheaper at Game Stop, inside the mall. I never left the mall. It took me 13 minutes to get back to this store. I have it timed stamped on receipts; the total time is less than 20 minutes. I first sent my daughter down to get my money back. They told her they would charge a rental fee. I went down and spoke with them. Both employees told me that since I was returning it due to me being HONEST and "finding it cheaper at another store and I did not LIE and say I was returning it due to game not working or that I already had a copy of the game at home" I would have to pay a "rental fee". I argued with them over this until I got my full refund. The man that was there told me Corporate would call him, and he would have to explain this, and they will not be happy. I said well customers are not happy when they have to lie about a situation just to get money back for changing our mind. I DEFINITELY recommend game stop!! It cost me half the price, and I was able to purchase an insurance just in case the game didn't work or it had some kind of accident(spills and whatnot). Entertainmart is not the place to go. I could understand if I had walked out of the mall or if it was even days later. But it wasn't. They do have a good selection of things. However, nothing is in order. Everything is mixed up. Read moreI had been all over town looking for some used XBOX or 360 games that were under $15 each and geared towards a 13 year old. Game Stop referred me here and I was excited to see a whole row of games anywhere from $5-$60. They also had a special 4 games for $30 for the 4 games I had selected they would've been $40, so that was a nice surprise! Really nice guys working, super helpful and nice. I noticed some things seemed over priced, but honestly they seemed to be the same pricing on figures and such as Game Exchange and Game Stop. I was excited to have another place to take new/used DVD's since Hastings closed, because Half Price Books literally offers you a dime on the dollar for all of them no matter if they are new sealed.
