Venus was helpful as a salesperson, but Sleep Number customer service is GARBAGE! Glorified blow up mattress! Too many moving parts and too many things to go WRONG.My side of the bed leaked from day one. I woke up on a board for several days before I realized the problem. (I was learning normal operation for the bed) Customer service doesn’t communicate at all! After I went through the troubleshooting list with customer service and they sent out a technician(which took another week still sleeping on a deflated air mattress) to “fix it” he came with NO PARTS and thought he was there to go through the same troubleshooting process I had already done over the phone! When I asked why in the world they’d send someone to my house with NO PARTS or intention to fix the problem I was simply told “we have a new girl taking phone calls and she dropped the ball.” I didn’t even call the Tyler store! I called the 800 number for service! So we know that was just an excuse and trying to throw another employee under the bus IMO. DON’T BUY AN ADJUSTABLE BASE! Unless you KNOW you’re going to keep the bed. You CANNOT RETURN the base WHEN you decide for yourself they’re overpriced and problematic. Also, after I watched all the videos to get store credit for items that they promote to you as a benefit, they TOOK my points when I returned the bed. I’d earned enough points to get some sheets or a pillow (expensive items) and they took them away when I returned the GLORIFIED BLOW UP MATTRESS. I earned those points with my time watching their promo videos and they took them away! The regular bed remotes suck. The app works good to control the base but if you don’t have the mattress they take your account away so you can’t use the app anymore EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE AN ADJUSTABLE BASE THAT WE CAN’T RETURN. Only good thing that came from this experience is I can use my adjustable base on my new Plush and Lavish mattress I purchased from Sleep City. NEVER SLEEP NUMBER FOR...
Read moreWe are Sleep Number customers, but after what occurred at the store yesterday we may be looking for another company. My wife, my son, and I went into one of your locations yesterday around 1pm. There was only 1 rep that we could see (Melanie) and she was helping another guest. No problem there, we are very patient. I did find it odd that she did not at least acknowledge that we were there, but that’s ok too. The problem lies in how she treated my 5 year old son. She does NOT have the right to yell across the store at my son! “Get your shoes off the bed!” My son quickly moved and began to cry, thinking he did something horrible. He wasn’t jumping on the bed, he wasn’t treating anything poorly. He just laid down on the side of the bed. Just like the guest that Melanie had been helping, she too laid on that exact bed, and YES, that guest had her shoes on too! Nevertheless if the policy is “no shoes on the bed” then your associate should treat ALL guests the same or have it Posted somewhere in the store. My little boy didn’t deserve to get yelled at and scared by some random adult he doesn’t know, especially when his parents are in visual sight of Melanie. I’m hoping this is an isolated event and that she doesn’t treat all people bad. I won’t be back to that store and like I said, I’m looking for a new company if this is how your reps are going to...
Read moreMy husband and I have been in the comparison stage of mattress shopping and stopped by the Broadway Mall location. We were greeted at the door which was wonderful but took a turn downhill once I laid on a mattress. A salesperson asked if we needed a new mattress, I responded we were just looking, and she then turned into one of the most condescending people I’ve ever met. Just because a customer states they are just looking does not mean you get to treat them any less than a purchasing customer. I had legitimate questions that I was trying to ask but the sales lady kept speaking extremely rude to me as if she was purposely trying to get us to leave because we were not purchasing. We have been comparing premier bedding at several stores and this woman was by far the worst example of what a sales associate should be. I am extremely disappointed and will have to find a different Sleep Number location to finish getting answers to my questions. I am hoping we will be treated differently elsewhere or this company won’t be considered in our shopping whatsoever. Train your salespeople not to judge a book by its cover. If I could leave 0...
