I was told to try this restaurant by my husband because he previously had a good experience with the quality of food during his visit at the mall. I am a fan of quick asian cuisine (typically going to Panda Express) so I thought I'd try. The first time we came, it was 15 minutes until closing. The hours weren't updated on Google and it was a Sunday when the mall closes early. There was a short line. Barely any food left, and the workers were very hasty and short with customers- giving customers minimal of the remaning food, but still charging full price. I thought this was interesting. My husband still purchased food, but I passed with the intention to come back at an earlier time with hopes to have a better experience. I'm huge on quality customer service. The 2nd time I returned was a few days later, 3 hours until closing time. There was a short line again upon arrival. Upon my turn to order, the server was very "rushy" and very short. I was told I could only choose noodles or fried rice (not half and half like at Panda Express) so I substituted on of my side selections with noodles instead. The server was very adamant to let me reiterate that to me after I informed her that's what I wanted to do. I purchased 3 selection meals for my husband and I. I was not asked if I was a new customer, or if I wanted to try any food before selection no matter the size of the line. Nor was the server willing to compensate my husband extra food for the lack luster amount he was given the last visit when he paid full price. (Will post photos) I ordered to go. Our portion sizes weren't still as much like in the photos of others that came here in the other reviews. The food was good, but not worth the trouble of getting out of my car or going through the uncomfortable exchange with the servers again, and not giving me what I want for the price. Tender chicken, not much variety. Noodles and rice are good. Overall, I probably won't be coming here again. I love to patronize where I feel my dollar is valued and appreciated above anything. I don't care how good your food is. How you treat your customers is everything. I love supporting small businesses, but it has to be worth it with quality service. Therefore I will be going elsewhere. Best wishes to whomever is reading this reading this review and decides to try the food still!

I ate here yesterday while I was at the mall. The place was very clean, and service was friendly and quick. My expectations were low as this is a mall buffet. Unfortunately, the flavors were just salt and sweet. Nothing like the fresh mix of flavors you get with authentic Chinese food. I'd sum this up as Chinese fast food. Not bad for a quick meal and if your expectations aren't too high (or if you like fast food). I probably wouldn't eat there again personally, but it wasn't the worst Chinese food I've had. Panda Express at DFW is amazing compared to this Pei Wei location.

Begs the question: How low are health code standards in this area? Dining Synopsis: Dog food in syrup with rice or noodles × 3. Fried, flavorless tube of regret extra charge. Water comes at a premium x 3. Price: $50.00 Conclusion: Digging through the trash is equally as rewarding at a lower cost. Follow up: Spend the evening feeling incredibly ill, after having only some of this food. On the brightside: GREAT FOR HELPING YOU EAT LESS!!!

I placed my order through DoorDash to pick up myself and when I came in a lady who works there let me know they didn’t have one of the items I asked for. She rushed me to pick something else which I thought was really rude but I brushed it off. I’m sitting down enjoying my lunch at a table and the same lady comes over and tells me if I’m done with my food then I need to get up and move since there were people with children coming in. I told her I would not be moving because I paid for my food and wanted to enjoy it like everyone else. Mind you I was the only she asked. The place was full. I’m also a person of color so it made me feel like it was as intentional since I was the only one asked to move. I will never be coming back here again. You don’t treat people like that, especially...

My son went and got us some bourbon chicken and noodles and I did not like the bourbon chicken because it was too sweet for my taste. So I asked my son to go there and exchange it for Mongolian chicken instead and lady was rude and says she could not do it because of the Corona virus. So I called and told her I did not like and could I exchange my food or my money back and she hung up the phone and said she was busy. I thought she was very rude and inconsiderate and could have exchange my food out. Too much sugar...I won't be back because you are customer service oriented and rude service to a 17 year old who actually liked it. Spent nearly $20 for something I didn't like. Ordered me a salad from Chick-Fil-A...I work in the mall and don't have a standard...
