I went to the puluxy location to get a cake for Mother’s Day. Myself and the other mother’s celebrating with me loooves the ice cream cake cause of the cookie crunch center. I tried to buy a large one but they said they sold out and all they had was the 6inches. I said that was fine. I read the label and saw it had a cookie crunch center. Awesome, we had dinner and got the cake out. As it was cut we noticed there was no cookie crunch center. We thought it was one off and cut the other cake. They all had no cookie crunch center. I called the manager and she told me they don’t come that way and dismissed me. I was upset but tried to enjoy the rest of the night. I called this morning and talked to another manager and he said they all come with cookie crunch and then we I brought up the last manager who said they don’t come that way anymore he said well idk maybe. I have no idea about cakes. So I called Tyler headquarters and spoke to lesly. She told me I needed to speak to the area supervisor Julie. I called Julie and it sounded like a woke her up and she told me they don’t come with cookie crunch. I said I know but the label said it did. It was false advertising, she told me she knows cause she put the labels on herself. But it was a universal label for everything…. So confused. Anyways I called Tyler headquarters back and they said they’d take my number and let the owners know. It’s frustrating cause I spent 50 dollars on a cake when I literally could have gotten three tubs of ice cream for a 3rd of that price. I felt dismissed and I hate false advertising. It’s not okay. I just wanted a...
Read moreDairy Queen has always been one of those places that feels a little nostalgic. Whether you grew up with it or just discovered it recently, there’s something comforting about walking in and knowing exactly what you're going to get. The menu has expanded over the years, but the heart of DQ is still the same: simple, satisfying treats that bring a smile.
Their signature Blizzards are a highlight. The way they mix in candies, cookies, or fruit with soft serve is hard to beat. You can really taste the difference between a fresh-made Blizzard and something pre-packaged. It’s fun watching them flip the cup upside down too. It’s a small gesture, but it shows confidence in the quality.
Besides desserts, the hot food menu is surprisingly solid. The burgers and chicken strips won’t compete with gourmet spots, but for fast food, they hit the spot. They’re warm, freshly made, and the fries are crisp more often than not. Pairing a meal with a classic DQ cone or sundae just works.
One thing worth mentioning is the service, which can vary depending on the location. Some stores go the extra mile, while others feel a bit rushed. Still, most employees are friendly and seem to enjoy working there, which adds to the...
Read moreIf you’re ordering a blizzard or expected any customer service you need to go to a different location. I ordered two blizzards with four toppings each. They didn’t even put them in the blizzard machine they poured the toppings into the ice cream and stuck it in a cup. I know this because I told the manager that was on duty I didn’t hear the machine working. He said he poured the toppings into the blizzard and just mix them up with a spoon. I told him that was unacceptable. Plus the guy at the register said the price was $11.60. I gave him $12.00. The machine didn’t tell him how much change to give back and he gave me $1.10. I was honest and told him that was incorrect and it should only be .40 cents change to me. So not only do they not serve food the way it is supposed to be served the can’t make correct change! Management doesn’t care because the assistant manager is the one that did the blizzards and felt that was ok to make the blizzard that way. This was done on 8/4/18 about 7:15PM Maybe this will be read by a higher up management person and they will...
