I spent the day shopping by myself and decided to sit down and treat myself to a peaceful lunch, since the weather was nice I asked to be seated outside. Thankfully, the hostess seated me and the table was meant for 6 people. No biggie. Shortly after I was seated, a woman(customer) came out to the patio and asked if I was using the other half of the table(they weren’t connected but pushed together), I told her no and that she was welcomed to it. Thinking it was just her and I’m assuming her husband. Well her husband said no we can’t sit there, we’ll sit inside. He said the hostess said it was unavailable. They bickered and ended up sitting outside at the table connected to mine. THEN another woman (employee) came out and set up another table to me to sit at with just one chair and mentioned that the people sitting next to me were a party of 8! I was happy to move tables because it was sort of awkward because the man and wife were bickering about the seatings. Also, how were 6 other people going to sit here? The manager Ashley came and took my order and it was out nice and promptly. This is my favorite pizza place to eat at and I don’t get to visit often being that I live about 45 minutes away. So the whole table situation I shrugged off. When it was time for me to pay and head out, Ashley let me know that she was sorry for the situation and no one should have to move seating. She let me know that if the other party didn’t offer to take care of my meal then they would. I really wasn’t expecting anything from the restaurant but they exceeded my expectations by a million. Even after this silliness, I’ll be returning here happily whenever I get to...
Read moreIf you’re looking for pizza that doesn’t make you feel like you just drank a gallon of oil, then this is the place for you! Wow, the pizza I ordered had excellent flavor and texture. The crust was nice and thin, and not oily, the sauce was slightly sweet but very tasty, and the toppings were fresh! I got two pizzas and also got spaghetti that I added Tre Meatballs on top. The spaghetti was pretty good, but the meatballs were incredible! I could eat those all day long, lol. I should have also gotten a pizza with only sauce, cheese, and meatballs! That would have been perfect! One of the pizzas I ordered was Chicken Alfredo, because tomato sauce typically gives me indigestion, but after eating the other pizza I got I had nothing to worry about. No indigestion after eating this pizza! The second pizza was half for my wife (Canadian Bacon and cheese) and half for me (Bacon Cheeseburger). She loved her half and I loved mine! My brother enjoyed some of the Chicken Alfredo, and thought it was pretty good. This visit to Tyler TX was made better by having a pizza restaurant option like this! The ordering process online was super simple and gave me all the options I wanted. The service was fast, it was ready when I arrived (just had a little bit of a line to get through before I could let them know I was ready to pick up the food). The place looked great on the inside, and the staff were friendly...
Read moreOrdered food for pickup, was extremely disappointed when my son got home with it. Looked like the whole mess was day old or thrown together without a care. Greek salad looked like something I could have made by cleaning out my fridge, just a bowl of onions, sliced olives, few tomatoes, and a tiny bit of feta sprinkled on top, there were also a few pieces of lettuce hiding underneath it all. The asparagus dip was crusty and old looking, served in a pizza box with a plain pizza crust, with a little garlic salt sprinkled over it, that was supposed to be the pita bread. My son got an 8" pizza that amounted to, four tiny slices and cost over $10 because he added some tomatoes and roasted garlic. My wife got a chicken wrap with just cheese, it looked pitiful, kinda scrunched up and cut partly in half, my other son got chicken alfredo and it too was kind of nasty looking. I've seen better from a $2 lean cuisine. For the amount paid $65 total, plus my son tipped 15% because he has worked in the food service industry himself and knows the tips mean everything, It was really an unappetizing, and dissatisfying experience. We have ate in before and never had problems, always the food was good, but this has turned me off from Rotolo's. I couldn't recommend this place or will I eat...
