American Deli — Restaurant in Tyrone

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the service I experienced at your American Deli location on 1508 GA-74 Ste 12, Tyrone, GA 30290 on April 11, 2024.

I called the restaurant at 8:45 PM to place an order, only to be informed that online orders were no longer being accepted. Despite this, I decided to visit the store in person, arriving at 8:52 PM, well within the advertised closing time of 9:00 PM. However, to my dismay, I was informed by Gabby that orders were no longer being accepted and that the store would close at 8:54 PM.

This inconsistency between the closing time advertised online and the actual closing time led to a wasted trip and inconvenience on my part. Had I been informed over the phone that orders would cease at 8:54 PM, I would have made alternative arrangements or visited another American Deli location closer to my home.

I understand the importance of adhering to closing times, but the lack of clarity and miscommunication in this situation reflects poorly on the customer service standards of your establishment. As a loyal customer, I expect better treatment and transparency regarding operational hours and order acceptance policies.

I hope this matter can be addressed promptly to prevent similar instances from occurring in the future. I look forward to your response and resolution...

Went at the hwy 74 location in Tyrone Ga 30290 located in Publix complex….. wanted to get 10 pc wings and large fries amount quoted was 11.79 and 4.99 something didn’t look right so I checked the menu and the prices were lower when I asked the cashier she said they were older one and had older price ….. that’s false and misleading advertisement…. When I checked the price on digital menu inside the store it still was cheaper and I asked her to honor the price that was marketed …. Cashier was polite and called the owner CHONG HO and she wanted to speak to me and I asked him to honor what he marketed…. EXTREMELY RUDE GUY THIS ARE BIS WORDS”DO U WANT TO BUY OR NOT OR DONT BUY THEN”. It’s almost like he is doing us a favor by having a store there…. A dollar wasn’t the issue his bad temperament and...

Wow. So I'll keep the bad to three things.

3. The chicken wings are tiny. Like miniscule. It looked like fat pigeon wings. On of the drumettes didn't even have meat on it. Not kidding. I didn't find anything besides bone and skin.

4. The meals say "w/ celery" but none came. I asked the cashier (after I got her attention from her phone) and she just said "yeah. We don't put celery on plates no more." Then remove it from the menu? The celery helps cleanse the palate from the sauce. I paid $14 the have celery with my wings.

5. Most concerning. The bathroom soap dispenser is broken. There isn't a separate bottle of soap in the bathroom. Its the only bathroom. I assume employees use the bathroom as they aren't robots. So.....
